China = reciprocating USA's treatment to others to USA itself
China = views USA as terrorist

Wikileaks isn't there to fact-check the documents it receives, it's there to publish documents that the public ordinarily would not have access to. It is merely the conduit. WL only tries to catch fraudulent documents, but if a leaked document contains bad or fraudulent info that is beyond the capability of WL to catch, then it will be published.

And I'd be extremely surprised if no such document was published, so in the end, as always, we mustn't take shortcuts on deciding which reports to believe and which to disbelieve simply by looking at who wrote/published them, or whether they jive with our existing beliefs, they have to be judged on the verifiability of their contents; WL's own FAQ says: "The simplest and most effective countermeasure is a worldwide community of informed users and editors who can scrutinise and discuss leaked documents." The point is to put the docs out there so they can be critically examined, not to say we should believe them right out of the box.

For me, "terrorist" is a loaded word that depends on one's perspective on various conflicts so I generally try to avoid the word when possible.

The point of my post was to respond to the idea that wikileaks could be propagandist, and I feel that I've shown that there's no evidence to suggest it, and that the nature of WL is what we should hope for in a publisher. Any response to that?
