meh...I'm left handed, the only problem that has ever hit me was tornado'ing with mario since I can smash a button faster with my left hand than right. But its nothing practice can't beat(although I still cannot do it).

I'm left handed. The thing is, since we all live in a right handed world, we've all grown up having to use our right hand for things anyway and it's just kind of natural now. I mean, I still use a mouse with my right hand (and so do most left handers, from what I've seen) and it feels just as natural as if I was right handed anyway.

At the end of the day, we might hold a tennis racquet or pen with our left hand, but as far as using a gamecube controller goes, nothing unusual to see here.

I've always wondered the impact being left handed has on gaming.

I don't think any amount of practice can make your non dominant hand as precise as your dominant hand could be at maximum potential. It's why i've always wondered if I should have switched my first person shooter console stick config to aiming with my left thumb and moving with my right.

The only games left handedness might affect controls are PC games, and many lefties still play normal. There are a couple notable left handed SC2 players (I believe Naniwa uses his left hand.. or was it Sase?)

Being left handed suits playing Ness since most of Ness' technical game consists of mashing all buttons on the right side of the controller at about the same time. You practically dont need a hand attached to your right arm.

Being left handed has not helped me be more technical with my left-hand. For example, my dash dances are normal speed, but I can SHDL for hours with my right hand.

I am left handed. My left hand is more dexterous so maybe it helps with movement.

I'm left-handed, but then I broke it once really bad and after physical therapy I'm pretty much ambidextrous now.
I'd say both of my hands are equally bad at video games.

That's exactly what I meant though. The latin word "sinistra" meant left and also evil. Way back when people who were left-handed were considered inherently evil or unlucky.

It's so weird that people used to discriminate against people just for being left handed. Like, what does it matter? Humans are so funny sometimes.

I remember when my friends and I first started to get really into higher level play and were learning dash dancing. The one of us who was marginally more experienced told me "no, Matt, you don't do it that fast." KO Righty.
