ok i know this esential for the sheik-fox matchup. im just wondering is there situations where you cant do anything agasint fox eg. your to far away from the ledge or hes at to low percent. Im fine when hes level, up or below and away from the stage. my main problem is when fox drops down close to the stage and rides the wall. if i ledgedrop bair or nair he will tech it. i find i cant cover all the options. what do you guys do if your halfway across the stage say FD and fox is just below at 40 percent and you dont have time to reverse needle grab the stage whats the best option. i need a bit of help thanks

first hit of dsmash has a lot of priority and hits under the stage, so you can sit right up next to the edge and cover about 95% of fox's recovery options on reaction. You don't have to look flashy to get the job done right.

regardin the last situation you mentioned, i think it is a good option to run off the stage with a b-air, and perhaps read the tech with another b-air or n-air
but if you know the fox is good at sweetspotting then yea do this, n if he techs then u got enough time to jump and to another
if u know the fox sucks at sweetspotting then wait on the edge n just d-smash

since ur problem is fox teching the ledgedrop b-air/n-air, u might want to also switch it up
you can fake that ur gonna attack him and he may hesitate and miss the sweetspot, so then u can punish that. But yea, mainly switching it up would solve the prob, hell even chain (side-b) would throw em off, although i dont reccomend it but for sake of switching it up i will allow it.

I'm almost completely convinced her D-smash fails against a perfect Fox squeeze and even if it doesn't it's also super duper easy to tech.

On topic, needles...?
