Sometimes if they don't leave, I stop cuz I get bored. If they still try fighting me, I swat them away like flies.

I usually wait a few matches to see if anyone good comes along. Sometimes I get lucky and a decent player stops by.

I have run into a few as well during the day lately. Now if I could get such matches without overpowered items more often, I'd be happy.

The worst items I've had were the Hotheads and there where character that could easily increase its size and reflect them.

I see some decent players on wifi, but few that really challenge me. I enjoy being defeated by someone on wifi, as long is it wasn't by free kill items.

Yesterday I had some REALLY bad luck. There was 3. f**king. Spamming. Pikachus! And all of them just kept on spamming Regular B and Down+B. Now that was silly!

(On a completely unrelated note, smashboards thinks the Lynx browser is a phone. Hopefully spoofing the user agent header will stop appending that erroneous to all my messages once and for all!)
Wish I could have been there with Mr. G&W. I never see more than 2 Spamchus at a time, though.

That is why I hate when bad players pick Pikachu. Sometimes Thunder's knock back is stupid...

The knockback on Marth's dolphin slash up close is awesome though. Good for surprises. B)

Has anyone experienced a match where everyone just starts killing themselves and the match disconnects?

Not like that. I get D/Ced when a player SDs fighting someone and its early into the round.

Sounds like a desync, someone didn't do a hack correctly.

If it happens to you 50% of the time, it's probably one of your hacks. You might want to double check your stage and character textures on brawl vault and see if they desync over wifi.

Does that happen in the practice stage? I've been stuck when it says ready to fight and it freezes there. You can reset the console and you have to pull the cord just to restart the system.

Ah I see, it must of been some hacks I had with items. Normally I only use file patch replacement 3.5.1.
I turned them off and the random suicides only come from people who don't know how to recover. Thanks for the help

If someone is suiciding then they're noobs for doing so no matter the reason.

Depends. I can tell when they're accidental, on purpose, or someone that just can't recover at all.

I've also seen players suicide cuz they were getting badly beaten by another player. Its really sad.

Those self pity ones are hilarious. Then when they respawn the crouch a lot so they don't have to fight or take cover being a spectator.
