L-canceling with Z has no timing requirement?

Try it. You can mash Z all you want in the air, and the L-cancel still takes effect in the end.

I sometimes mess up my L-cancel if my attack hits an unexpected shield, so this could be useful - quickly pressing Z after hitting L too early.

Also, it's not necessary to fully press the L or R button to L-cancel. This may be common knowledge to some, but I've met many Smashers who didn't realize you could just barely tap L or R.

Yeah dude if you're unsure as to when you will land (don't know if you'll hit your opponent, his shield, or whiff), spam R lol. you'll always get the cancel.

This is why I usually read and never post in here. People don't know this stuff? We need a repository with lots of useless information or something. These topics take up space.

There is a topic somewhere named something like: Common knowledge that most people don't know. But all the knowledge is spreaded in the posts, instead of being put together in the OP.

I did not know this. :urg:

Much less of a burden on my finger now, thanks
