And well excuse me for the matches were so laggy that I couldn't even anticipate his generic stuff, and it's your fault I went into Frigate blindly instead of like Halberd. Well I don't take ladder as seriously as you do, but my advice would be to not play anyone too far from your region as to decrease potential lag and if you're not sure about what counterpick then just go to a neutral. Smashville and BF are completely fine vs Diddy, same with Yoshi's.

I'm only doing it to shut some idiots up, and to get my white font name that I was cheated out of because of that one Canadian Olimar who shall not be named lag boosting his way above me, just as I was hitting top 8 that is.
I use SV first by default, so I can't go back there after 1st game. I don't like BF much against certain chars for they just cower away to the top platform and keep jumping whenever I'm trying to stay at the ledge, at Pit's arrow blindspot. YI is self-explanatory being a Pit, and avoiding FD against that stupid monkey is just the best thing you can do. Probably would have won or at least not lose like that if I wasn't provoked so much to play on a laggy night.

W/e. Most of AIB are nothing but idiots that use top tiers as if they were steroids for their poor skills. And what's worse is that I can no longer scrooge under the stage as a means of recovering because of what I explained up there before, not to mention they got rid of my Brinstar. Way to limit Pit more, AIB...
I suppose learning to time out others on Castle is my next option.

Without those top tiers around, your character would be one of the best and then people might view you as a no skill cheater.

Pit isn't even that bad. You are just like the 09 Falcon mains on aib whining about literally every single matchup. If you even tried to use a better character, I have no doubt this olimar and diddy would still outdo you with their poor skills.

And for the record, I've been here for about 4 years, so I am a regular to Brawl myself, offliner garbage not included, and glad I'm not.

I have high expectations, and I will do what I need to do within the requirements of getting said goal to get to those goals.

Don't just rule out a stage because it seems like you can't do certain things on them. You can always request to go back to smashville even if you won as long as your opponent is okay with it. The rule is they have the right to deny a stage that you won on. Battle field, you just have to practice it. When they are on the platforms is great for pit because we get uair/nair and even bair pressure. You don't need to be on the ledge if they are on the stage platforms. Yoshi's Island doesn't destroy Pit just because he can't fly under the stage anymore. The slants on the edges gives dtilt amazing range with it's already decent 6 frame hitbox. Also the platform is great for aircamping as well as pressure when they are above it and you are below it. Give neutrals a chance as they will always be your safest bet and least likely to screw you over. The ghosts can even save you at times if you're luckay. Banning FD against Diddy is fine, but it's not that bad if you play the matchup well and avoid bananas.

What the hell is with this mentality man? You don't have to have *** strategies to win, just outplay your opponent it is way more respectable. Accept the life of a midtier main and realize that top tiers are just better. If they were gone, like tesh says, and everyone mained a mid tier or lower then guess what, Pit would be top tier. Scrooging is a bad tactic, it's just stalling. Banning brinstar isn't limiting Pit, it's getting rid of a stupid and unplayable stage so people can hone their own skills instead of relying on stage gimmicks to beat people because that isn't advancing the character metagames.

Pft, my mind has ALWAYS been grudge-like against top tiers, keeping me from getting playoffs cash on 3 different occasions. I dropped Wario, D3, and ugly MK as secondaries ever since I learned about tier lists back in the 2009 days, and I'm glad I did. I don't respect top tiers, and I NEVER will! Even if I have one on my team (for got knows what if I do happen to do dubs), I won't respect it.
I only used the stupid scrooging to prevent being gimped by stupid cheap MK or something, but now because I was told I can't go under the stage anymore for any reason, it only annoys me even more that they're limiting my main even further. What next? Sharking on Delfino/Halberd will be banned?
