I've never seen something like this before! Am I right in thinking that it was the Lucario coming out of the swallow that did the damage/knockback?

It is. When you swallow, the person is pooped out as a star briefly.

Hey! MikeKirby's mad close set with MVD got uploaded. To be honest, he did even better than I thought he would and probably could have won the set had it not been for the goof in game one. And I never realized Mike had such great item play. Seriously, give Kirby a decent neutral and this man will be taking names.

I'm not an expert, but I feel like you definitely should've respected his moves more, and played more defensively. I mean, Ganon gets a lot of hits in purely from his opponent's mistakes, so you should be the one forcing him to make the first move, not the other way around. Try baiting him by floating just outside of his range, with multi jumps or whatever.
Other than that, idk how effective it is to space with Fair, but that's probably because I'm one of those Dair spammers.
