Killing snake

lately I've been having trouble killing them. This match up is still pretty easy. I just need to kill them.

Usually we're both on our last stock. I'm at 20, he's at 100. then they pull some crap to live up until 180 or 200% This gives him time to catch up, and he can kill me at 100.

I can handle snakes, but I just need to kill their azzes.

As brinboy and Affinity said, gimping is your best option; as you know, Snake is one of the heavier characters in the game, and, as a result, gimping will be a lot easier than trying to smash Snake off the screen. Also, Snake's recovery is easier to gimp than most characters' recovery, which is just another reason why gimping is a better idea.

I hate facing an MK with a good edge game. sometimes its IMPOSSIBLE to avoid his edge guarding game and you can get gimped by shuttle loops pretty easy.

If the snake starts recovering high then do your tornado at the top of the screen and raise it up so you can get a kill of the top. My friend does it to me all the time

Neutral grabbing them is an option then hitting them if they c4 to come back

if they try to air dodge right above the edge all you need to do is fsmash with good spacing a small distance away from the edge and it will usually hit him because of the retardly large hitboxes on it and you can restart your whole edge guarding game. Nair'ing him out of the cypher is another option

Just practice doing all that and the snake is gonna have a hard time :/

An unstaled dsmash is your other best bet...

Protip: As MK, you can shuttle loop Snake almost anywhere off the stage and survive; even below the level of the stage. The cypher will always hit you of you do it correctly, allowing you to recover.

This only works if you have port priority. If don't don't then it kills you instead of Snake :p
Really? I thought Snakes stopped holding Nades so much against MK because it can happen whenever... I was told that you only die if you time it wrong. So you can't die from wrong timing? It sucks that I'll have to try to get port 4 against Snake.

So Snake players should ignore Omnigay's existence when they're player 4.

Grab Snake on top of a grenade and down throw him when you're in port 4, then do the same thing when you're in port 1. If you're in port 4 Snake will get blown up into the air, if you're in port 1 you'll be blown up in the air. The Omnigay is based off of the same principle. It's a good idea to always fight for port 4 against a Snake player.

Remember kids: when you arrive to your station at a tournament player port is determined by rock-paper-scissors according to the SBR rules.

I knew everything except for that the Omnigay was based off the same principal. I guess I should have put the two together and realized that what I read was wrong. By the way, I hope I can have 3 cards, one for rock, et cetera, and place a card face down, and say that is what I am "shooting" for rock, and then tell them to announce which they will choose, and then I flip the card over. That way there won't be any possible delay in one player's shooting that could let them always win.

We've been finding people nearby and telling them our choice, then having them say them out loud. Have to find an impartial party, obv, but it makes things a ton easier.

I mean, I have trading cards I can just draw a circle, a square, and a couple of lines, and then I have the cards for it forever, and don't need an impartial party. It sounds a lot more tedious than it really is.
