I don't think this was necessary but meh, you're pretty curious about it.
And it's not like the end of the world. If anyone wants him back then just say it to him and see what he responds.

He was banned because he posted what others call "The ChuDat Chronicles", which was a journal of sorts of things that went on in his personal life (that were incredibly inappropriate). We removed the Chronicles, and he was banned. Afterward, he kept on trying to bypass the ban, which ruined all of his chances of coming back.

He was mad about his tourney thread being deleted? Sure, he dropped an implied f-bomb, but he's a well-known enough member of the smash community, I feel like he ought to be given a bit of a break.
Does he still play? The last tourney people were talking about in this thread when I popped in last mentioned both him and Y.B.M.
Funny how I've been gone this long and still know smash players like that.
But rules are rules. At the end of the day, he's still a player and that's what's important. Over in Starcraft 2 there is a player named "IdrA", who, for the longest time, was constantly identified as being bad mannered, but over time he improved his image and remained one of the best Zerg players in the world. This kind of stuff blows over eventually.

Oh, well that's different. Still, Smashboards is a community. If ChuDat is still a player, and therefore a member of our community, then I feel like we ought to at least give him the chance to redeem himself. I believe that a person gets a second chance out of courtesy, and a third if they prove they can and will change.

Haha, yes, It is Tater. I don't use that name for anything anymore, and the whole "internet names followed by a string of numbers" thing just isn't something I do. I can't stand looking at an alphanumeric name. So Twinkie disposed of my old name, and I was reborn as Kmatt!
That was actually the "screen name" I had (sans the numbers) back when the only internet available was AOL via dial-up. Turns out I'm not the only "Kmatt" on the net, so making accounts on web sites drives me insane. One of the drawbacks to this name, the nickname my dad uses (My name being Kyle Matthew) is that when talking online, people address me as "Matt", which takes me a minute to realize they're talking to me.
It's really bad on Xbox LIVE where one of my close friends' friends name is Matt IRL, so when someone says "Matt", we have no idea who they're talking about.

I like the part where he says he can communicate with people with his mind. I mean, who can't relate to that? Honestly.
Hero Mode is pretty freaking hard. I only played up through the first dungeon and already died.
Admittedly, it was my fault for trying to dodge with a roll instead of blocking, or something. It was pretty dumb.
The main reason there was a problem with it was drug references.

Hearing this medley kinda wants to make me try Kirby for a while. Lol. Hapi is a god, can't wait to see if he makes a medley out of Mass Attack, Return to Dreamland, Epic Yarn, and Air Ride songs like the ending seems to tease.

Yeah because ChuDat carries with him the holy grail of Smasher literature that is his chronicle.
No talk of drugs at all, or sexual references, are allowed, period! Or else you guys will get ME in trouble. >_>
Anyway, suffice it to say the Chu Chronicles weren't just him complaining about his bi-weeklies. He broke a good number of rules, was asked to stop, kept on going, got banned, made an alt account to continue the chronicles, got banned again, then made numerous alts afterwards to post his tourneys or read others' replies. He also used other people's accounts iirc. He's got no chance of coming back unless the staff gets a complete makeover and no one knows what happened.

Yeah, it was hard. I think I beat it on my 2nd run through when I realized from the 1st try that I really needed to be careful.
