These seem to be getting more popular... or just more abundant.

Regardless, here it is! The moment you've all been waiting fooooor (or not)! Kashakunaki's video thread.

Note: These are all friendlies. All the matches with astricks next to the match number are matches where I used Falco. The ones without that I used Doc, but I thought I'd post them anyways.

I'm open to pretty much anything. Critizism, constructive or negative, advice, comments, humor, whatever. However, I'd like it if you didn't just straight up insult me. If I see "your Falco sucks I own you" I will find you and when I do...

So, discuss and help my Falco get better ^_^!

on your falco dittos you should throw up more than throw forward, it can be fallowed by a combo

I watched a few more, you just need to speed up a little and do more pillering instead of so many nairs

Lol, thank you. Before the knee part I had CF downthrow Falco, Falco run off and taunt and say, "I'm Falco and ****," but my capturing stuff sucks.

Thank you Ripple. I really should work on pillaring... I always get the **** shield grabbed out of me, though. GoldenGlove is a relentless grabber.

You've got the basics down... Now just polish it up.

Work on sweet spotting your recoveries... I don't think I saw you do that in any of the Falco matches I watched.

More lasers...

And I think you could work on approaching with short hopped d-airs... You seem to really like n-airs and shines... They're both excellent tools, but short hopped d-airs are staple. Most the d-airs you pulled were out of full jumps.

Yeah, my Falco is pretty basic. I try to sweet spot my recoveries, those matches aren't the best example of that. I usually edge tech his Dairs and what have you, too. That part of my game was a little flimsy.

More lasers...
Aye aye. I'll also try to approach with the Dair more. Thank you.

You messed up a bit with some of your SHLs, but I only watched one match. It was Kashakunaki (Falco) vs. GoldenGlove (Mewtwo) 2/2. But I noticed that some of your SHLs don't look like they would hit some of the shorter opponents such as Pichu, and some of them weren't fastfalled when there was no reason not to. Also you missed a lot when you tried the full hop triple laser, try to work on your timing, that extra damage can mean a big difference.

I don't necessarily agree about the more lasers part because some Falcos, even good ones don't use as many you did. It just depends on the style.

Oh and I like when your friend shouted OWNED :p.

in the second vid... (falco vs. mew 2) you sorta repeated your self alot... that's not good at all... b/c like after the first couple of times... people will figure you out... and probably edgegaurd you... if you were playing against the doc or mario... you probably would have gotten caped..

But shep, if I'm not getting punished for it and I'm not necessarily doing anything wrong, why change it? That would entail thinking about every little thing you did, how you did it, and how many times you did it. I think that's a little too much to ask for.

Also, thank you Leoneri. As for that last match, it says Falco vs. Falco but I accidently uploaded my Doc vs. Shiek on PS twice, so I edited that and here it is:

if you were playing a high lvl player... they would have had you figured out after the first time you did that... then when you ran off the edge again... you probably would have gotten plinked (shined) or down smashed.... or whatever they would have done to you... who knows... but im not saying that you should stop... that's your style... i do the same thing to my friends... if i make up a new combo... and they cant stop it... it's just a process of copy and repeat... but it's always nice to do like one combo... then do it again.... and then change it up... and then probably go back to it...

It's alright but your falco seems to really lack the fluidity that's necessary for high level play. Too many full jumps, not mobile enough lasers, very few d-air to shine combos..

You know the basics but know you need to bring it to the higher level, polish up your skills.

Thank you Adi. I know fluidity is a major part of Falco's game, and I'll work on that. The reason I did so many full jumps, too, is because I noticed in higher level Falco videos after a Dair to shine or what have you, they do two jumps in rapid succession, and I was trying to do that... but failing, obviously, lol.

And to you shep, I agree, but they were friendlies, you must remember. If I were in a tournament I would most definitely mix things up more.

EDIT: This is Kashakunaki.

IMO your best option out of a shine is a waveshine, because if your shine misses or goes into a shield, you put yourself in a really bad position like that. Also if you're fast enough you'll generally be able to get above them for the d-air, and it's much easier to position since they'll be closer to the ground.
