Kas Appreciation Thread.

Pretty much only beer I can drink are ted's platinums.. 2.1 per bottle, fook yeahz.

ted platinum are 1.8 per stubby and taste like ****.. but are good for slamming a few beers down before you go out to feel a bit tipsy.

I have so much new found respect for you rob, apart from this statement.

But it always takes a back seat to bourbon for me.

beer is manly to drink, just like steaks are manly to eat.. it's a fact of life kas, just like rob said

Also, beer is an alcoholic drink in it's natural state.. not alcohol in the form of a spirit mixed with 90% sugary soft drink to mask the taste. Especially vodka, which is known for being relatively tasteless in comparison to it's alcoholic content. If you don't understand kas, then I give up.

Scotch/rum/bourbon with coke isn't much better imo, but they have a sharper more distinct taste than vodka. I do enjoy a rum and coke or scotch and dry on the odd occasion. However a scotch on the rocks is extremely manly, as you're not adding anything to it to mask the taste.

The Dorfs say Corona is pretty ****, lol.

sea doesn't like corona, I like corona but think it is over rated (voted most popular beer in AUS last year my ***) and ranga loves them.. ALSO drinking a corona with a lemon/lime is stupid, they only do it in mexico to keep flies away from the bottle.. but I would definitely take a corona over any cruiser/splice/mudshake/cowboy/fruit tingle or any other queer drink you think makes you a good drinker by sculling as if it were something worth drinking any day.

Kas you're a ****ing idiot. My choice of alcohol has nothing to do with trying to be manly... I love beer for that lovely refreshing taste and for me, no spirit/bourbon or whatevs can provide that refreshment. To me, there's nothing better than cracking open a beer with ur closest mates and relaxing.

scotch and whiskey=ok
tequila is ****ing horrendous
vodka is meeh
jagermeister was cool when i was younger

And luke, coronas might taste good to you but have you tried any other beer apart from xxxx, vb or any other pisswater beers? Coronas are very average and it ****ing baffles me that it's a popular beer in our age group. It's gotta be the image. Corona's in mexico are what xxxx's are to qld. Beer rating sites give corona's D's lol. Enough said. I'm not saying it's completely foul, I'm saying that it's extremely overrated and i would drink it if there were no other beers in the house.

My 3 favourite beers are...
1. Hoegaarden pints
2. La' Chouffe's
3. Guinness (you either love it or hate it. i love it cos it goes down smoothly)

EDIT: Have to add a 4th as Kilkenny ties with Guinness

Oh and Cooper's Pale Ale on tap goes alrite to. Probably my 5 favourite beers right there.

Also, wtf is with ur rants lately kas. I know ranting like that is normal for you but you're acting moodier than usual.

Coronas.. they're the type of beers you can just sink one after the other, they're not that great but they're not bad either. I agree with sea - it's over rated, simple as that. Lots of young males with popped collars and stylish hair seem to drink them for the image and have probably never tired another beer. Each to their own though luke.

Beers - I like mostly drink asian beers so - Sapporo, Lao, Chang, Asahi.
Coronas mad overrated and when it comes to price they can get ****ed!
