This is a good starting point.

Marth is, by far, the easiest character to do it with.

It's a pretty straightforward momentum trick, the main thing I can tell you is to tilt, not smash the directional stick; you just want to turn around, not dash the other way. If I'm not mistaken you also cannot be in the full run animation, you need to be in frames where you can still turn around without the animation.

Really though, How useful is it?
NOT VERY, IMO.

Jace is trainin me hard this week, I should be amazing in only a few more disgustingly long sessions.

Yea we've gone for some pretty long sessions. I've identified many many of my weak points. The hard part is fighting off old habits, and forcing myself to use the options I use so rarely cause theyre so bad in 64. Mostly defense and shield work.

Im exactly the opposite, I'm so used to attacking shield being a good thing that I blindly attack the front of shields often, never spot dodge and never ever roll since they're so punishable in 64.
