Hmm... melee is gravitating towards a game that likes floaty characters that rely on 'spacing' and 'camping' tactics, and employs strategies like grabbing the edge repeatedly to (arguably) stall out a match to win.

Yeah Jiggs is winning all the Melee tournaments, because Mango is pretty much always the one behind the controller. Find better ways to troll. Mango could probably pick Yoshi and beat 99% of the Melee community.

1) You just described every brawl match I've ever seen.
2) Melee isn't the one that has to make tournament rules limiting the number of ledge-grabs in a match.

I have never seen ledge stalling in a melee match before, but I have seen how the Brawl mentality has effected Melee metagame...and it's not good friends.

ledgecamping to force approach is different from ledgestalling. ledge stalling has no intent to attack or kill, while ledge camping is an effective strategy that owns impatient people like Florida.

z and i have talked about this a bunch before, brawl is so bad that it is ruining melee. melee players have suddenly started playing extremely campy and boring. however, melee is much more balanced than brawl, and in the future i would not be surprised to see the metagame shift back to the incredibly aggressive style of the early 2007 (pc and kdj rule the world) era. until then, we need to face that falco and falcon are the only non-gay characters left in the game. if it really bothers you, then become the change you would like to see.

I'm liking the new era of people realizing how to "play to win". Brawl is so good that melee players are learning how to incorporate brawl strategy into their game. Sorry if we figured out what works to win 5 times faster than you guys did.
Also, I have a feeling strongbad suffers from some mental illness. lol, either that or he's like 10 or somethin'
