Falco's laser lock is extremely easy to do. All you have to do is mash the B button when someone misses a tech, and BAM, instant infinite combo.

We'll instate a "don't be gay" rule that prohibits dumb play to win matches or something (i.e. camping, spamming, easy infinites, mindgames, technical skill, etc.) so that everyone is this thread will be satisfied at this tournament that you don't win money for or gain any pride from b/c it's a relaxed environment and nobody really cares if they win or not, mirite mah doudes?

Falco makes Falcon a sad panda (if you aren't Darkrain) in melee, and prolly in brawl too.

Laser lock is only infinite while it's over the ground or against the wall. So unless you do it at the very left edge heading right on FD, it's not going to last very long. It's just really, really dumb.

Sam I have an SNES set up in my room at the dorms so if you just want to bring the game I can hook you up so you don't have to bring that stuff from STL.

Just to let everyone know, there is a high chance that no one is going to be doing the falco laser lock for a few reasons.

1st reason - You only have the ability to tech probably twice per match. In fact I dont even remember hitting the ground while tumbling in most of the games I've played.

2nd reason - You've probably never played this game before the day of this tourney, I wouldn't recommend putting mastery of the laser lock above learning the physics of the game.

3rd reason - I'm sure theres a way to get out of this, It's never happened to me because it's so unlikely, and even if it did, I doubt I'll get laser locked the entire length of FD. I probably wont miss my tech on the very corner of it, with you standing next to me, yeah right.

Honestly, you have to be pretty lame to get hit by the falco laser lock. If I see it happen I'll be pretty amazed.

That can get tricky if you have friendly fire on. Personal experience.
