btw K. Rool should have the gem thing on his cape and lighter skin. I like a mixture of both companies design on him and I never really liked the dark green on K Rool.

In the ballot I always write "King K. Rool" and the "Donkey Kong Country series". I like to point out that he has appeared in multiple games each with a different disguise, to show his enormous moveset potential.

I used to prefer the light skin but recently I've come around to the dark skin. I agree though that the gem and tail are musts.

You know what?.. I actually got stuck with the thought of someone reporting here someday, saying that "some employee" of NoA said that Shovel Knight was a fan-favorite among the company; (that's before Roy and Ryu be confirmed).. and there was no word on K. Rool..
Not that exactly I think we aren't getting K. Rool by this (and not even that we're getting Shovel Knight by the same reason).. was something really vague and hard to believe,.. but you know, could make sense (but NoA doesn't reflect Nintendo in Japan, or Sakurai's decision). I just fear how many vacancies we have for characters coming from the Ballot, and what are the ones that Nintendo thinks are pertinent (aka worthy of asking money by them).

I think nintendo at this moment has to at least be aware of how popular king k rool is now. He's pretty much everywhere and to be honest, he is probably the biggest character that nintendo owns right now that people actually want to see. Maybe shovel knight might come in but Nintendo would be stupid to ignore King k Rool. After all, it is fan service

As the OP of this thread has mentioned, K. Rool was noted as a popular request in Sakurai's Brawl journal so he definitely knows people want him. I agree with the sentiment someone posted earlier that with K. Rool's recent absences, Sakurai might have just assumed interest in him waned by Smash 4, but now we have a chance to prove him wrong.

I believe this is from the Enemy Smash section in Smashrun. It only happens at times in the Final Round after 5 minutes are up

Presumably it's from the enemy rush that can happen after the Smash Run timer ends, which takes place on a standard battlefield and could allow for normal camera positioning.

That video makes me think: What would your guys' solution be for dealing with K. Rool's crown throw if he's wearing Kaptain and Baron alts?

You could probably make the Kaptain hat big enough that his hand could clip through it and just throw the crown from inside the head, but I'm at a loss for how to deal with Baron.
