That doesn't actually mean the two series share a continuity on it's own.I mean well yeah, its a fact given Ryu Hayabusa stars in the Dead or Alive games.
Why do you do these things to yourself? LolFinally beat Master Ninja in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. Got my golden healthbar. Holy **** was it annoying with so many one-hit kill grabs...
Well, it's apparently supposed to be:I just hope the Ninja Gaiden trilogy on the Switch is the best version for the second trilogy of games
Oh, I see.Well, it's apparently supposed to be:
Ninja Gaiden Sigma
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge
I would've hoped for the originals on the Xbox consoles for the first 2 but Sigma is fine and mostly similar to Ninja Gaiden Black. Sigma 2 though is really quite the huge departure from the original Ninja Gaiden II on Xbox 360. Razor's Edge is whatever.
Nintendo's been the main partner for Koei Tecmo games as of lateI’m actually pretty surprised (but at the same time really thankful) that Microsoft hasn’t already tried to outright buy Koei Tecmo given how surprisingly often both companies have partnered up.
I’m aware, I was talking about back then.Nintendo's been the main partner for Koei Tecmo games as of late
Maybe because Ninja Gaiden hasn't had the same legacy it had since 1991 (1995 if you count the SNES Trilogy). While Fatal Frame was newer and is still the same in terms of visual appearance and gameplay. Maybe Nintendo did try to get Ninja Gaiden but Koei Tecmo didn't want to lose their arguably most iconic IP, who knows? I think it would personally be a loss for K-T. Hayabusa is also still prevalent in Dead or Alive and Warriors Orochi. I don't think K-T would ever want to give up Ninja Gaiden.I’m aware, I was talking about back then.
But now that I think about it, I kinda wonder what made Nintendo choose to buy a portion of the rights to the Fatal Frame/Project Zero series and not Ninja Gaiden which not only is arguably Tecmo’s most iconic IP, but also the one that had a bigger legacy on Nintendo consoles.
I guess the last one is a good theory. Personally I think Ryu would kinda feel at home with Nintendo, but it really does depend wether or not Koei would still have the freedom of working with Ryu outside of the Ninja Gaiden IP, like in the Dead or Alive series, for it to be a real win on both sides.Maybe because Ninja Gaiden hasn't had the same legacy it had since 1991 (1995 if you count the SNES Trilogy). Koei Tecmo is not going to hand the rights of their flagship franchise to Nintendo.I’m aware, I was talking about back then.

He made some great points, I really hope it happenshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JP2saNcEyI Delzethin covers Hayabusa in his latest video

In b4 speculators jumps the gun saying this is a hint to Ryu Hayabusa being confirmed on the 10th.
What is up with that logo though? This is a modern trilogy. Hope that's just a placeholder. The whole box art is practically empty too. Damn, Koei Tecmo really be skimping out on their best IP, they must really not care for Ninja Gaiden anymore. So this happened.

I dont have my Xbox anymore so honestly I'm just happy that these games are being brought to new hardware. Even if they're not the best versions of said games. In b4 speculators jumps the gun saying this is a hint to Ryu Hayabusa being confirmed on the 10th.
My guess is that this is simply a placeholder from the store itself. What is up with that logo though? This is a modern trilogy. Hope that's just a placeholder. Yeah, that was leaked already. Guess it's looking more likely now.So this happened.

I'm more a fan of his Ninja Gaiden II design, the one they keep using in Warriors Orochi. Something about it is just right for me. The headband is supposed to represent a dragon to which he is a Dragon Ninja and his name even means dragon.I dunno if I’ve ever mentioned this but I really REALLY like Hayabusa’s Dead or Alive 6 design and I really hope that’s the design they go with.
I think it’s the most combat ready he’s ever looked. The armpit over the padding and the chain mail under his gauntlets are legit incredible. And of course this is his one appearance where his helm is an actual Falcom. This design is incredible.

a better fit is if it was Dharkon instead of galeem since Ryu hunts demonsI bet some of us thought Ryu slashed Galeem in half. I know I did. Welp, 3 more spots to go.
heck his trailer could end up being the reverse of sephiroth trailerWe need Ryu Hayabusa now more than ever to counter Sephiroth and his madness! C'mon Nintendo and Sakurai, let Ry show Smash true justice!
Oh and I'm okay with Sephiroth in Smash.
If that’s how it worked we wouldn’t have had Byleth and Hero on the same Pass. Besides Ryu has many more mechanics up his sleeve than just the katana. With Sephiroth wielding a katana-based sword, this may not bode well for our Ninja Gaiden hero.
