Which of Link's ATs (specific and generally used by other chars) do you consider most useful? Put it in order from most useful to least useful (less situational to most situational).

Quick Dash Attack (not really an AT, but oh well)

You might want to add stage bombing and ledgehop bombs. They're both good ATs.

I can't really say since I can only do about half of those.....


And um, what's double/triple arrow? You can shoot more than one arrow at a time?

doubledraw (as some call it) is a full hop, shooting an arrow as soon as you jump then shoot a second arrow right before you land. The second arrow will be quickdrawn/arrow cancelled.

You can also shoot three times by shooting as you jump, as you double-jump, and then into an arrow cancel. It's basically a utilization of canceling the jump animation. If you look in the ISJR thread, and click the link to the vid, you see Link canceling his jumps doing aerials and then demonstrating ISJR/SJR.

arrow cancel useless? Why? Full Hop->Bomb Pullout->Arrow cancel provides a defense when you're pulling out bombs. Although not the most useful technique, it still serves as a good alternative to normal arrows

because instead you can short hop and throw a bomb, then pull out another bomb

only time i see arrow canceling being useful is if you're somehow edge guarding with an arrow or if you bair to arrow

It depends what situation Im in. Sometimes I see links do AT at the wrong time which in the end hurts them. I try not to show off with these AT unless there needed at the moment.

I'm pretty sure that, Jab lock and Z-air are the best AT on that list.

Jab Lock, is a automatic kill. If you predict where your opponent's going to fall, before he/she actually get's there, you could Jab Lock them. I'm able to this 1-2 times in my matches now, and kill.

Z-Air is Link's best spacer. It's Fast, has good range, auto cancels, and could hit up to two times. Not to mention all the combo's you could do with it.

DAC is a pretty good AT as well, best approach, and could kill around 130-150%.

Arrow cancel, is probably the worse out of all of the AT (well not including Gale Guarding and Quick Dash Attack). It gets easier, and easier to predict each game, while the effect still stays the same.

Well, that's the thing about Link. Not only must you be able to perform the ATs, you must also know when to use them at the correct times. Learning them is simply not enough.

All of those tactics FAIL. Link is obviously the worst character, because he;s low tier duh. i think youre a no life nerd who spends his days discussing a gay character in a horrible game series. I think you deserve to die.
