Just a Neat Thing I Noticed

In the new commercials (and probably in other gameplay videos as well), when someone gets KO'd, the color of the blast that comes from where they were KO'd is colored depending on their Player #.

Player 1: Red
Player 2: Blue
Player 3: Yellow
Player 4: Green

For Instance, when Link (P1) Fox (P2), and Peach (P3) battle on Lylat Cruise in the above video, Link KO's both Fox and Peach, and you can see that Fox's blast is blue, while Peach's is Yellow!

This isn't really that neat since it was in both 64 and Melee.

i noticed that too. i think i noticed because the beam thingy has direction now, drawing attention to it.

I never noticed it in Melee, wow, knowing that makes me...die a little inside :p

Interesting... nice catch.

They were soooo subtle in the other games that I didn't take much notice. But the KO effects do seem even more detailed now (duh).

Yeah, I don't think that was in the other games. It was always a bluish-white blast if I can recall. That's a pretty neat addition.
