Sakurai comes out and chastises us for being whiny and and in need of Melee speed so:

• Random tripping will return
  
• Dan, not Ryu, will be in the game
  
• Shields and Rolls will buffed to Little Mac levels

In all seriousness, I just want a Ryu trailer, something about tournament mode, a balance update (that buffs the lower tiers and doesn't nerf Greninja), MAYBE a better netcode (its good but not great), and some new stages/items/modes/characters (Dixie or K. Rool please). I honestly don't know what to expect coming into Sunday so here's hoping something good comes out of it.

I know what site the guy came from. His profile is shinyquagsire23 on a hacking forum called GBAtemp, where he's basically trying to make homebrew and helping out on a CFW for the 3DS.

Anyways, back on topic, he's obviously gonna talk about Lucas first. I think Sakurai is going to of course drop a surprise character, which I assume would be either Roy, Wolf, or Ryu, but I think they might reveal Ryu during EVO, and Roy during the Fire Emblem concert, so the character who I think is most likely to be revealed is Wolf. Then, I think he'll talk about DLC stages, $4:99 a stage pack or something and HOPEFULLY talk about tournament mode. Since I don't have my hopes that high for this direct, I think he will then end it with saying something like, "More Smash content will be at the digital event blah blah blah." So my predictions in bullet points.
*Talk about Lucas and ballot results so far.
*Character reveal : Ryu, Roy, or Wolf, PLZ WOLF OR RYU
*DLC Stages: Miiverse, Stage Packs, etc

I honestly don't expect much, just a bunch of talk about what is in the new patch that's coming, and then a teaser/trailer for the next character who'll come alongside tournament mode or something in fall. Definitely don't see us getting anything near the content bombs that were the pre-release Directs.

Why does everyone want new characters s badly, holy...the roster is immense as it is. I am completely satisfied with the roster. Now lets see a few of the characters we already have get some slight buffs.

That and additional stages, why does nobody talk about these things? I'm hoping the Miiverse stage won't be the only stage they will be adding in. I'd pay good money for some classics. Fountain of Dreams anyone?

So, thinking about this from a business perspective, they'll want to:
A: Release new character(s) and content as part of a june 14th patch, and
B: Release new content to be hyped about.

The following patch is confirmed by RTB to have the following, and more:
-Numerous assets for Ryu and Roy
-New Mii costumes
-Possibly Dreamland.

Since we have no real gameplay, we can't say if the patch has them playable, or if they are just in a good enough state to have all the content ready. Once again, I'm not sure, just covering all options.

If Roy and Ryu are in the game, then there will probably be more announced than what's in the patch: new characters and stages we've yet to learn about? Who knows. If they aren't in, it'll not be surprising if we don't get much more than we already know about.

Yes, I think that they will tell about everything we now know about, and they're gonna announce future DLC characters/stages at E3.

So who thinks we'll now learn anything new tomorrow? This is a huge-a** amount of content, like Smash Christmas, especially if all three characters come out tomorrow, so if they even discuss a new upcoming fighter, like say Dixie Kong, just buy word of mouth or with a picture like Mewtwo's reveal, that would be a huge shock. It would be cool if they did a ballot recap, showing percents of character votes so far, but Nintendo is way too uncool to even consider something like that. Yup, Smash characters are sacred. We need to protect them more than the citizens of the U.S.A.

I think that they have more DLC characters to reveal. The data just has data for the newest characters.

I mean, Mewtwo's update didn't have anything Lucas related. So why would this update have to contain more character files that aren't revealed?

After the massive dump of info we learned earlier this morning, I don't see much else being shown to be honest. I'd be shocked and very surprised if there was though. I mean, this is A LOT of content. I can however see something being dished out at E3 maybe for future DLC.

My guess is that everything we know about so far (Lucas, Roy, Ryu, Miiverse, Dream Land 64, Ryu's stage, the trophies/costumes/tourney mode stuff) will be talked about tomorrow and will have a "ready after this direct!!!!!" thing. And then H O P E F U L L Y they'll talk more about stuff they have planned for the future on Tuesday (that's the day of the big E3 direct, right?). Because honestly, this would be kinda lackluster for Smash-related E3 announcements.
