Wait a minute, is rest that move that practically kills you every time you forget what character you are nd try to rock form? If so, it's really rather annoying but doesn't seem to do anything positive at all.
.....are you serious

look up H-box on youtube and come back and give us details on why rest is at least in the top 5 moves in the game if not the best(I think it's like 3rd).

till then you have no right to talk here. You are telling us things you don't understand. I play as pichu, kirby, and puff a lot and i've carefully hace studied many different aspects about them and you haven't, go back and check that out so you have some idea what we are talkuing about.

till then Im taking this thread over for pichu vs kirby debates. pichu's movement and nair> kirby's everything can anyone prove this wrong?

Really fighting level 9s with kirby is the easiest thing ever jump up 5 times and stone and repeat till they are dead.

Also pichu has better camping than kirby if anyone is wordering.

yeah but doing this isnt going to work against human players... so it would just be picking up bad habits... i mean beating them with legit combos

I don't know why anyone responded to this thread.

First this guy claims that there isn't enough "data" and the low tiers' metagames are "underdeveloped". Where is that information coming from? Melee has been out for like 9 years now. There's LOTS of information and reasoning behind the tier list.

People have listed several reasons and even a gif animation as to why Jiggs > Kirby, you simply lack the mindset needed to comprehend it. @_@

DO you know why this post was a waste? Yes you have an amazing point, however the problem is your using logic. Would you say people(overall) are beings of logic and reason or beings of my **** is bigger?

He's a beginner... Its understandable that he doesnt know the difference between Puff and Kirby. He'll get it eventually. My advice to him is to just watch vids of pros on youtube. You'll quickly see the difference (No pros play Kirby cuz he suks d***)

my point was there's no point to fighting level 9s.
when you have nobody to practice with, its the only way to keep your reflexes in shape

i play against level 1s and master my spaceing and mindgames. I play a lot of theory very carefully and do some serious testing. level 1s is where it's at.

level 3's are better. any higher than that is a no no though.

example: you wanna learn how to chainthrow the spacies and get the timeing down? use a lvl 3 it DIs after the 2nd throw.

I don't believe that was actually me.

I've argued a lot of dumb things but that wasn't one of them.

Also, I think tires don exit for reals. At least at the lower tiers. There's just so little data on them, and their personal metagame is so underdeveloped that it's hard to effectively rate them, no less compare them against each other.
I pretty much used your exact words.

That was a broken quote. I don't speak like that.

EDIT: also, can we ditch this whole waste of a topic. The whole idea seems to have been misunderstood from the start anyway. I never intended to suggest that Kirby was good, just that he was simmilar to Jiggly and that if Jiggly had suddenly achieved a higher rating then it would make sense for Kirby to do so too.
Obviously this is not the case and I have come to realise why: Jigglypuff is NOT simmilar to GCN Kirby, he is simmilar to N64 Kirby. You know, the Kirby that was actually good.
