I'm one post away from becoming a Smash Apprentice.

And I've only been a member for a little over a month.

I thought it was kind of funny; depending on how frequently you post, your life could become more sad as you gain a higher ranking. I mean, titles are supposed to serve the purpose of giving you a sense of accomplishment when you reach a higher one, but... I don't know. I feel kind of... empty.

I feel like I should pace myself and not feel the need to reply to every other **** post in every thread I visit frequently, but I have trouble doing that sometimes. It's my summer break, and I don't really have a set amount of time on the computer; I only have to get off when someone else wants to use it. On top of things, I'm not the most athletic guy, and I don't spend that much time outside.

So basically, I fit the stereotype of a nerd.

This is kind of a pointless blog, I just felt like venting a bit.

My post rate suggests I became a Smash Lord in just over a month.

Just out of curiosity, do posts in rooms where post count is disabled go toward your daily post rate?

Nope.

They take your Post Count and divide it by the number of days you've been on. Easy process. :)

Post counts don't really serve much of purpose. If you're cool, you're cool. If you're not, so be it. Post count will not influence that.

Post counts is how people see your rank. But there is also the join date, that can show how veteran you are.

It's definitely not all about the post count and join date. It's about the quality of your posting. If you consistently post intelligently, and find places where your expertise is wanted and appreciated, that's what gets you respect.

Also, nothing wrong with being a nerd. :)

Edit: If it's all about the join date, then I've got this whole thread beat. Woo, I'm so pro.

I don't care about my post count at all, and generally don't judge others by theirs, because it means nothing. For example, SK92 only has a hundred or so posts, but he's one of the best Falcos out there.

Chacho is wrong, post count gives you easier access to acceptance in a new place, even if you made terrible posts somewhere else.

I got 1200 posts in my first month with the Sonic boards. I love that place, now we got a xat though. Funny how I also got like 14 points in that month.
