Items can be fun for some people and items can be a huge pain. But asked yourself this, do you think they should includes items or no items at Super Smash Bros 4.

You may be on to something here.I think it's best to remove all items, all stages with more than one platform, and have just Fox as a character. Much better game this way.
I don't think that was really called for. As strange as it sounds, even us competitively-minded Smashers enjoy turning on random stages and all items sometimes. It can be crazy fun. This is the dumbest post I've ever read.
There's been a god damn option to turn off items since the first game.
Items make the game so much more fun, and if you hate them...
TURN THEM OFF!!!!!
I hate you whiny tournament players so much sometimes.
Now if only they'd let us do that with stages as well.On-topic, they're going to do the same thing with items they do every game, and there's going to be some cool new items as well. They'll be toggled on or off. Have cake. Eat it.
Except all the tournament players here said yes to include them. This is the dumbest post I've ever read.

Seriously. Removing gameplay elements was sort of the reason Brawl had backlash in the first place lolYes. I don't why this is even a question. Or did you forget that all the other Smash games let you turn items off?
What a baseless assumption...This is the dumbest post I've ever read.

I get the feeling they don't like you either. Smash is the only game where the casual market despises people who try to get good at the game.I hate you whiny tournament players so much sometimes.
This is perhaps the first time I saw someone vehemently supporting casual play. This is the dumbest post I've ever read.

You must not look outside this site much. There's tons of resentment towards competitive Smash outside Smashboards. This is perhaps the first time I saw someone vehemently supporting casual play.
More like ignorance. There's tons of resentment towards competitive Smash outside Smashboards.
You talk like these are members of the community that are high in number and not a super obnoxious vocal minority.More like fanboyism... >_>
Casual anti-Melee purists or Über-competitive Melee purists... like two peas on the same plate.
Krystal's stick should be an item as well.I hope fludd goes off marios back and becomes an item instead.
Uhmmm... It makes sense.Krystal's stick should be an item as well.
It's annoying, but let it be for the sake of variety. If they modified it to target only opponents...I really hope they don't bring red shell back. Most annoying weapon ever.
Have you ever turned on bumpers in Brawl?I really hope they don't bring red shell back. Most annoying weapon ever.
Lol. The flipper in melee is even more annoying.Have you ever turned on bumpers in Brawl?
I find this post funny for several reasons:This is the dumbest post I've ever read.
