Let's keep it on Isaac, at least tangentially.

What Golden Sun Assist Trophies would you like to see? The Wise One is obvious, but some others would be fun.

If they are not going to be built into Isaac's move set, I would like to see the Djinn as an Assist Trophy. It could release a randomly chosen Djinn type that would attach to the summoner and provide a temporary stat boost: Venus would boost Defense, Mars would boost Attack Strength, Mercury would boost Speed, and Jupiter would boost Jump Height. At the end of the summoning time, the Djinn will release itself and cause an explosion of the given element to burst around the summoner to deal damage and send opponents flying.

I'd rather see a finite amount of games and a good ending to the story than an infinite number of games and the IP is driven into the ground.

As long as the games are well-spaced I wouldn't mind the series continuing for a long time. There's a massive world and tons of different things they could jump around to. They could go to the future, the distant past, focus on side stories in the existing titles, etc. There is plenty of material to work with and Nintendo doesn't have a proper traditional continuous JRPG series, so it'd be neat to see it keep going, though I wouldn't want the games to come out so quickly. Probably 3-4 years apart so they don't wear it thin too quickly.

Hello Issac fans
I've been an Issac supporter since pre Brawl days he is currently my 2nd most wanted character for Smash DLC I'll be honest I've never played Golden sun until a month ago but I always acknowledged the character and though he could be a great addition to smash.

I haven't actually voted for him yet since I knew his strong support would continue supporting him, I'm still probably going to drop a vote at the very last moments anyways.

So how do you guys feel about Issac chances?

Honestly I am trying to be pessimistic about Isaac's chances because I like keeping my expectations low about things which are out of my hands, so as to avoid disappointment. But every so often I get so hyped at the possibility of being able to impale Sheik with a humungous sword, using the protagonist of my favourite game of all time, in a fighting game which I am passionate about.

If Isaac does make it in, on the day of the patch I may end up labbing him for like 48hrs straight. Much coffee and energy drink shall be consumed.

I'm not really thinking much about it lately. There's so many ways the remaining character dlc could go down.

All things considered I think he has a fair chance. Having said that, aside from Wolf there aren't any characters that are obviously pulling ahead....so it seems kind of pointless to worry about chances right now.

I just thought of something: what if Isaac were like Princess Toadstool, in that his forward smash switched between weapons? First a sword, then an axe, and finally a mace. Rinse and repeat. The sword could have the longest range but deal the least damage & knockback, the axe could have a round hitbox and act as a kill move, and the mace could have the smallest hitbox but deal the most damage and act as a sheild breaker.

[Shrugs] Then again, it would make more sense for both Isaacs normal and special moves to be Psynergy-based.

This right here. All signs point to another stage. The fact that stage_4 page is missing when Hyrule Castle 64 is 3 and SMM stage is 5 seems pretty telling. Plus SMM's odd placement on the stage CSS where it is shoved off to the left instead of centered, leaving ample room for a second stage.

Both that and the fact that on the website there are 4 solo purchasable DLC stages, and the image file names are literally called stage_1.jpg (Dream Land), stage_2.jpg (Hyrule Castle), stage_3.jpg (Peach's Castle), etc. Keep in mind, there's only four of them (Suzaku Castle doesn't have one because it comes with Ryu).


Super Mario Maker's image file name is stage_5.jpg. stage_4.jpg currently does not exist.

First of all, that's not possible because stage_4.jpg doesn't exist. Its further not possible because Peach's Castle and Hyrule Castle are #3 and #2, respectively, and both came out AFTER Suzaku Castle and Dream Land.


I already said, Suzaku Castle is not a solo stage. Its only received by purchasing Ryu, so it doesn't have its own image.

It would be nice to get something brand new but it's probably too much to expect along with Super Mario Maker.

I'd love to see Big Blue or Fourside return. (or Poke Floats but it would look kind of dated these days with only the first two gens)

Huh....I'm not on the list. How have I never noticed this.

I could see the other stage being a returning stage from Melee or Brawl.

It would be nice to get something brand new but it's probably too much to expect along with Super Mario Maker.

I'd love to see Big Blue or Fourside return. (or Poke Floats but it would look kind of dated these days with only the first two gens)

I was thinking we could have a new stage called "Poke Parade" and have it take place in Lumiose City (the parade would go around the perimeter in a circle) You could have balloons for flying/floating Pokemon and floats for land/sea Pokemon.

I usually make Isaac a Ninja before Colosso so he is the only one who has a decent class at the point while everyone else is a part-timer!
