I can't get this Shovel Knight amiibo bull**** off my mind. I mean, I know it's not a Smash Bros. amiibo (there are other amiibo besides Smash Brothers), but I can't shake it as an omen of ill portents...

I thought that when we survived both the Assist Trophy Apocalypse (even though this was before my time in SmashBoards) and later, the Mii Costume Massacre, that maybe Isaac would have a shot, but now I'm back to square one.

And while I acknowledge that one other character getting in does not immediately nuke another character's chances, we're already at 4 DLC characters: Lucas, Mewtwo, Roy and Ryu. How many total can we get? Especially with the Wii U's cycle looking to come to a somewhat premature end with the NX.

Its not, its just people online constantly making up bull**** rumors and the NX is incredibly unlikely to launch until 2017 at the earliest.

Damnit, Etika, WHY?!



I've already proven the page wasn't updated. I only told the Kutthroats and responded to Tamaki's post on Twitter, but here's what I just commented on Etika's video:

The ballot page wasn't updated, the site auto-generates content. When it has to reload content, the page's time is updated.

How do I know? I checked SEVERAL pages. Some of them had a slightly older time from a couple of hours ago, but I loaded ballot pages on the Japanese site, the Italian site, and the Russian site, and they all showed my CURRENT time.



Also, there's no update confirmed for tomorrow. Its just a server maintenance. A server maintenance does NOT mean there's going to be an update (though I'd love it if there was an update).

To check the date a page was last updated, you just go to a web page, erase the contents of the address bar, and type in:

Oh, my bad, I just got a bit too hyped for an update. I want my characters to get more buffs. ;-;

EDIT: By the way I think there are going to be 3 to 5 fighters that are coming. If you look at the DLC list there is Fighter Bundle #1 with the 4 fighters that came earlier. So maybe that's hinting to another bundle.

The short of it being, Amazon is beginning to sell codes for virtual console games for the Wii U and 3DS, and Golden Sun is part of the relatively short list of initial titles being put up!

This could be Nintendo taking notice of the Golden Sun fanbase, whether it be through the ballot or through the virtual console sales figures, or it could also very easily be totally unrelated to any of that. But hey, if you have any friends who haven't purchased Golden Sun on the Wii U yet, this might be worth throwing their way! You can find Golden Sun listed specifically right here!

I, personally, need to go buy TLA off the virtual console, as I've been meaning to do that for a little while now >x> Shhhh~

I want that trophy!!

To get that trophy, I want to earn it by beating the Master Core as Isaac!

Even though of course you can just get it by beating the Master Hand on level 2.0 or below, still I'm debuting Isaac's classic mode appearance on level 6.0 this way he'll at least fight the Master Beast.



I'd like a few dlc trophies though, not sure who though, I always wanted to see maybe a Jenna trophy, I'd rather have that then maybe instead of a Felix trophy, just make the Isaac's alternate color.

Of course I'm going to just say I'd really like to see a Karis trophy, but of the GS chicks I think either Jenna or Mia might be the most deserving, I'm kind of leaning more towards Jenna though.

Also worth mentioning, not saying this takes Isaac out of the running, but I'd like to see a Golden Sun Mii costume of some sort, perhaps maybe a Isaac Mii costume could be in the game or maybe a Matthew Mii costume?
