i have a lot of doubts, in my opinion samus has more posiblilities playing online, when i play offline i have more difficulties to beat my rivals, i dont know why. :ohwell:

i vote online...

Offline > Online

Seriously, Wi-Fi isn't real-time, so there is lag or latency or both, and it's just not that great. After brawling with some people online, when I brawl with my brother, I move more smoothly. And this isn't just for Samus alone. If you use Ness or Lucas, you'll perform better offline in terms of recovery. Heck, there have been times when I was using Pit, and I'd use my Wings of Icarus, but I'd pass the boundry line below and lose a stock anyway.

ive wondered myself I play samus fine online til I play west coasters mostly cuz the delay messes with my missle cancel ability.Dont get me started on how bad samus becomes in spike lag. I vote for Samus being better offline.

God i hate online play. I don't even feel like I'm playing a fun videogame. For me its just tedious work I do to get better matchup knowledge.

Dude, I had you on my Brawl Friend Code, but Dad was saying that it was laggy. I really didn't notice anything on my side. 'Tis a shame.

Samus does better offline, unless you've become accustom to the button delays.

She is a character that uses a few specific-timing moves (which are easy to time) in order to cancel the anim-lag on them (missiles, zair) which are essential to her game. Make these moves even more difficult to perform and she becomes tedious to use until you are able to have yourself compensate (which then throws your offline-game off).

On the same note though, you do get the advantage if you're able to train yourself for the lag because it makes power-shielding her projectiles that much more difficult (as someone said).

Samus (and all projectile spammers) are NOT fun online. As it was mentioned above by Havokk, no powershielding = hell. I do it for the match-up experience, and that's about it.

As a player, Samus is better offline. Always.

Samus herself however is better online due to the fact that you can't powershield for ****.

exactly online fails big time, samus is definitly in the top 5 worse chars to be online, she sucks, everything gets predictable. no combos and no killing power.

Yeah I whiff so many f smashes online its not funny. Killing is the hardest part. Thats why im gonna start picking Ike when I go online and just stand in the middle of the stage and charge Up smash over and over til I land a kill

She has styles which favor offline and online play. Spam is better online, precision is better offline. I'd take precision over spam since her kill moves are hard to land.

Also that brawl+ vid was pretty baller.

Definitely offline.

Samus is one of the characters affected most by lag, so offline is a must.

But it freaking sucks that I live in a place where there are no freaking good Smash Bros players. It isn't freaking fair! I would use fox in place of freak, but you know, I must keep my anger level below 9000...
