Is it me or do the new character updates look a bit photoshopped? lol

im serious tho. like some of these new character updates look a bit photoshopped. like sonic's update looked a bit photoshopped like this picture:

it seriously looks like some1 did a good photoshop of king dedede and just placed him on a picture of halberd perfectly lol


I can tell tht if some1 did a really good photoshop and it looked like these pics u guys wouldnt believe it. u just wouldve been like: ZOMG tH@t !$ L!k3 $o0o0oo f@k3!!!!1!!1!!!1 GET 0uT.

i just wanna see who agrees with me and notices this too :cool:

EDIT: If u read carefully i never said the photos ARE photoshopped, i said they LOOK photoshopped and only a little bit. Seriously, why the heck would sakurai and his team make photoshops of screenshots instead of taking them from the real game. I also never said tht sonic and dedede arent going into to be in the game. Sonic was my #1 choice and dedede was my #5.

I can see where you're coming from with the Dedede picture but it would be extremely hard for anyone to photoshop a picture THAT well and get the lighting perfect and the colors to match the mood, etc. I would know. I use photoshop extensively.

Plus, what would be the point of the Dojo photoshopping their own pictures? They don't need to do that. It's real shots from the game. What would they benefit from photoshopping the pictures when they can just take them straight from the game? That wouldn't make much sense at all... I highly, HIGHLY doubt that they did any photoshop work on the screenshots.

ino tht the pictures arent photoshopped and they are obviously from the game itself but it just kinda looks like they're a liiiiiitle bit photoshopped :dizzy:

The reason they look photoshopped is because they look a lot like the fake pictures that people made in the past. We're just so used to seeing 'Shopped Brawl pics.

Well, they look a tad photoshopped. If only a little. Oh, and the picture with Waddle Doo in King DeDeDe's special moves update looks a little...meh...

Sonic is in the Demo, their not Photoshopped.

Plus, you would need to find the original picture to even prove it was photoshopped.

I could have swore i saw the 2nd picture before sonic was updated but i thought it was just another fake. Maybe da ja vu?

Maybe it's just the newness of it all. You're not used to seeing these characters. After we get used to them, they'll look and feel natural.

i think cuz sonic is not really meant to be next to link and mario that he looks out of place

dedede also doesnt match his environment which from kirby games is supposed to be all colorful like

The only thing that looks photoshopped to me is the menu and button symbols (gamecube buttons).
Those screams PS.

Yea, Sakurai photoshops all his Brawl screenshots so that you'll believe Sonic is really confirmed. April Fools.

The second picture does look a little... odd... Sonic and Link don't seem to be interacting with each other at all. Also, Sonic looks a little out of place in Brawl already. Maybe we just think it's too good to be true.

I have yet to see a photoshopped image look as good as those screen caps. The lighting is way to consistent as well as the proportions and how they interact with the backgrounds. Of course, if you were trying to find things that make it look fake then you will invariably run into the fact that it's simulated 3D, so the figure/ground relationship isn't perfect and there are lots of minor things that goes into that.

I know what the TC means.

They remind us of them because they are the exact same poses. I swear I saw a Sonic one like that on the web the day before it came out on the Dojo!

i think sonic's pictures might just look photoshopped to you because he just sticks out with his bright blue color. on king dedede's picture though, i gotta say i can't see it looking photoshopped to me.
