i think that u should try doing the followings: spyware remover, adaware remover, delete ur temp. internet files, delete cookies, avg full system scan, and then reformat the hard drive. this should do the trick
well i got my Spyware and Adaware remover for free cause im just that good and on the AVG, u should go into the virus vault and try to heal all the files that r in there if they're any in the vault, and if u can heal them, just delete them from the vault. most likely i can fix ur computer if i was there first hand

The main reason I use firefox is because it has plugins, like adblock, grease monkey, and a bunch of other cool add ons. It is also faster in rendering objects than IE. It handles tabs a lot better as well. IE takes like 5 seconds to open a new tab where firefox is instant. Firefox also doesn't have direct access to the OS so it is usually more secure.
