I will not buy the game if the stage builder doesn't allow me to sketch the terrain on the gamepad.

There it is.
Not to say that statement is inherently true, but this board is in need of some bold opinions during this hang-time.

I want to hear some bold statements, folks.

I won't buy this game because it doesn't have a character I want in it, and also because a character I didn't want stole a slot from said character.

I won't buy this game because I don't like the colour red.

The colour yellow should've gotten in.

I won't buy this game because I only ever play Coin Mode, and it hasn't been confirmed to be back yet. It's game mode slot was probably taken by Smash Run.

WHY SAKURAI!
Now, now, calm down there. It's okay, if Coin Mode doesn't come back. It's okay...it's okay...

HERE, to cheer you up, here's something we can all enjoy!

The top feature I've wanted revealed for Smash 4.

I expect (want) the limitations to be vastly expanded, with multiple backdrops from the other stages already in the game, static or traversing. More themed set pieces with unusual shapes. Anything on top of that is just a bonus, really.

As mentioned in the OP, definitely have some gamepad use. Let me draw the background or on the background and on pieces.

If it comes back, I'm going to make a "Floating Islands" stage, with multiple floating platforms placed randomly around.

And there DAMN WELL better be a generic stage SPECIFICALLY and EXCLUSIVELY used for the tutorial videos.

Very well then. I abandon this thread, but will not sink it myself for I believe it captures the Spirit of an Age.
I suppose I'll have to demote the ideas expressed in this thread to the status of "unpopular amongst forum goers."

Oh, while I have your attention, I should like to add (with a bit of vinegar) that there are moderators who generally handle this stuff. I believe you're supposed to report posts and let them handle it rather than stepping in yourself, but I appreciate the sentiment.

I understand what you mean, but moderator or not, I'm just trying to help you find the right threads to post in, one member to another, especially since you've only been here on month. When I say "we", I mean the community as a whole. I apologize if you misunderstood my intentions.

Have a good one! :)
