I don't see why you'd quit Melee unless you just didn't like it. The games are too different. That's like quitting heroine because you picked up crack cocaine. Wait..bad reference.

I don't know. I guess I feel that they're similar enough that its like playing different versions of the same game. I'm just so much better at Brawl than I was at Melee. But then again, I got into Melee really late...

I go back to Melee, and it's really fun. But I just honestly find Brawl more enjoyable.
