Red holds Alan's hand and watches. "You can look away if you want," he tells him.
"No, I can hear Lenna screaming. I don't...I don't want to see it," Ashley says. Baby Ashley whimpers at the noise, and Ashley rocks her.
<No. I just had nothing else to say>
Dust Bunny: Never mind. My ears are all tangled up anyway. Well, we have more waiting to do then.
ShyHo: Lotta excrement and blood on the bed.
Baby Ashley hears the crying and starts to cry very, very loudly. "Oh, no..." Ashley mumbles. She sits Baby Ashley on her knee and rubs her back.
"This isn't good. Baby Ashley can't see the baby," Ashley says. "I don't know what she'll do, but....We can't."
(Lenna begins breastfeeding her newborn daughter)
"No....No Ashley see," Ashley tells him. "We're staying right here...."
Baby Ashley continues screaming and crying. "She's not happy at all," Ashley says. "I can't say I am either..."
ShyHo: Why aren’t you happy? I certainly am!
"It's just...I wish I could be tiny and new, with no self-hatred and regret, and have real parents to take care of me and love me..." Ashley mumbles. "My adopted dad is dead, and my adopted mom is insane, so what can I do? I just have to worry about myself even though I'm so young..."
ShyHo: Honestly, maybe you should go see the Wizard of Oz. I can’t do anything about parents, and I just became one.
"The Wizard of Oz? But that's just a fairytale...How could he help me?" Ashley asks.
ShyHo: If you wish for parents that love and care for you, he will give them to you for sure.
"Okay...I'm worried about how my adopted mom will react, though..." Ashley mumbles. Baby Ashley continues to cry. "You took care of her a long time ago....Maybe you can help her?"
(ShyHo brings Baby Ashley home and puts her in the crib, before returning to the infirmary only to hear his own daughter cry, whom he promptly changes)
Baby Ashley teleports back and cries more. "Baby Ashley. You took care of me when I first took the potion that made me a baby, so technically it was her," Ashley says. "What can you do to make her feel better?"
ShyHo: Not much I can do. She’s not my spawn, so I can’t really try to teach her.
"Why should it matter if you're her biological parent or not? Please, just calm her down and help her like you did all that time ago," Ashley says, holding Baby Ashley up to ShyHo.
ShyHo: Dude, she just s*** herself! It’s really stinky. Why are you crying, Baby Ashley?
Baby Ashley babbles a lot. "Me an' Awan....onwy baby!" she manages to say.
ShyHo: Mmkay, sorry I wanted children, then. Can’t really unscramble eggs at this point.
"No, it's okay. She doesn't understand. She's only very little, after all," Ashley says, rubbing Baby Ashley's back.
Lenna: ShyHo, come here.
Baby Ashley starts crying even louder and runs into the room before Ashley can stop her. "NO!" she yells after seeing Juliana. "I HATE HER!"
Ashley picks up Baby Ashley and brings her over. "She's having a hard time. I think we should leave."
Alan: Too loud! Too loud! (Sits and holds himself. He snatches Mr. Gecko up and stands again)
(Juliana was already crying from the loud noise, and buries her face in her father's robe)
Ashley teleports home with him, Dust Bunny, and Baby Ashley. She puts Baby Ashley in her crib to calm down, and then brings Alan downstairs. She squats down to his eye level.
Alan: (Sniffles) Okay... (Wipes tears away. He waddles to a chair, pushing it next to the freezer)...
Ashley picks him up. "You want ice cream?" she asks. She scoops him a bowl of chocolate ice cream, and sets him down in Baby Ashley's high chair with it. "Be good. I'm gonna go check on Dust Bunny."
Dust Bunny: Yeah. What was all that at the palace? I thought someone was going to die!
"Baby Ashley was jealous of ShyHo's baby," Ashley says, pointing to her, who is still crying. "I don't like the baby much either...Why does she get to have real parents but not me? I wish Gunther was alive and Sarah wasn't insane anymore..."
"Mommy!" Baby Ashley cries.
Sarah: Hi, Ashley! (Writes in her notebook with strangely precise dexterity while she looks at Baby Ashley and waves with her other hand)
