Sarah: We need to be systematic about finding out what she can learn and what she has learned. Let us put on our epistemological gloves... (Takes out a note book and writes key points-- obvious or not )... So we have a baby with the following basic questions to answer:

1. Is she aware of herself, her motives, her feelings, and thoughts?...

2. Is she aware that others have motives, feelings and thoughts?...

3. Does she make schemes for understanding people in terms of herself?...

4. How does she go about solving complex problems?...

These are what we must know.

Employee: Oh, those are best-sellers! They are very sophisticated, and can answer a wide array of questions.

Gunther: O-kay. Do they connect to the internet?

Employee: No. They are pre-programmed with all responses, but the speech recognition technology that powers its capabilities, and virtually everything else that makes this toy so special was developed by the world renowned Dr. Robotnik.

Gunther: (seeing the heads stare at him) Yeah... I think that's a little creepy...

Gunther leaves the store with groceries, but uneknownst to the employees and Gunther, an unanticipated communication occurs between the heads.

Heads: Send them... Yes... S-s-send them... (They are mysteriously connected to Freddy proper.)

Miguel shakes his head. He looks back at Ashley before another ball strikes his head. He looks around to see the same toddler looking around a corner before fleeing to her mother. Miguel grumbles in Spanish utterances that Ashley cannot be well heard.
