I would be a Rock type user, though I would definitely NOT be the first Gym Leader of the Region faced...

Of coure, my favorite Rock-types aren't very strong. But who cares? {My favorite Rock-Types are Graveler and Rhydon... Yeah, I guess they could evolve...}

If I was a gym leader I would most likely specialize in Dark types because they are sooo Broken lol. My team would most likely be:

1.

2.

3.

I havent watched pkmn in years but I remember the battles were 3 on 3, so thats what my team would consist of.
This looks like a really balanced team. If Spiritomb uses physical attacks like Weavile and Tyranitar, then some bulky defensive walls could stop this team. But Spiritomb has Nasty Plot, STAB Shadow Ball, and Hidden Power [Fighting].

Cereal Rabbit ~> Lopunny. It works, I guess.

I could add something random and ugly like Exploud for a substitute though Lopunny is too good!!!

Lopunny's speed + switcheroo = Pwn

I hope you see this, Celebi.

Why couldn't you use Lopunny like this instead?

Also, I'm crossing out Lopunny because I'm still seeing too much of it, even though Celebi broke up with it (I think...).

Well Giovanni was ground (R/B/Y, Fr/Lg.. and I think there was someone else in another land.

Good team btw, types work out nicely, <3 Flygon.

Maybe a flying type to be original, since there hasn't been a flying gym, i think, right?

Hmm... the gyms should be based around common strategies, not types. Everyone and their mothers can use a single pokemon against a gym leader and win. (literally, I overheard a young mom telling her young daughter to use Close Combat against an Empoleon)

I'd go Eeveelution baton pass, with the walls (Espeon and Vaporeon) charging Calm Minds and Acid Armors, maybe even Jolteon passing Double Teams if I felt like it.

Espeon
Jolteon
Flareon
Vaporeon
Leafeon
Glaceon

I'd love to have a gym with a theme. My favorite Pokemon are Squirtle and Marill so thus, it would be the Squirtle and Marill gym! Hah

They'd be annoying, with Protect and of course Marill would have Belly Drum to make him totally devastate everything.

I'd give out the Amorphous Badge.

Pokemon:
-Ditto
-Porygon2 (with Conversion 2)
-Kecleon
-Castform (with Blizzard and Rain Dance)
-Porygon-Z (with Adaptivity and Conversion)

Obnoxiously easy, yes, but unique.
(I didn't read the full topic, so sorry if I took someone's idea)

I'd probably be a mix, sort of what Blue was in the G/S/C games. I never liked to specialize in a certain element but if I had to choose, probably the Dark/Psychic/Ghost types with a few surprises here and there. (Those WTF Pokemon that has nothing to do with your specialties.)

My team might look something like this:
-Weavile
-Gengar
-Gardevoir
-Starmie
-Dusknoir
-Arcanine (here it is, the WTF Pokemon. At least it can learn Dark-type moves and protects my Dark/Psychic types from pesky Bug-types.)

Of course, this team is far from perfect, which is why I prefer a variety in a team.
