If YOU put the effort would clans work?

Like As current updates show, the online play for brawl wont be soo deep as to FPS shooters nowadays.
But would that stop brawl from being a clan competitive game via forums?
If we put the effort in would it be hard to have clan matches...say you have 6 players in your clan total.
Would having 2v2 brackets or 1v1 brackets without clans be so hard, or even putting brackets ex. {DR}DarkAce as your player name be difficult..I think it would be a good idea.
Also tournaments would be WAAAY easier with online mode and all...but im hoping sakurai...changes his mind and puts more depth into this online play

Crew battles are kinda like clane wars. i think clans will work fine.

Shooters aren't deep? Haha. Ever play TF2 with a good team? Millions of stratagies can come out.

I remember when this game was first announced, I made a clan myself on a freeboards website.

Either way, I think that they are right, online tournaments will be fun only, part of the skill is preforming out of your own home.

I'm in a sort of clan already, not an online one mind you, a clan with my friends.

I'm sure people will make clans when Brawl comes out, for example someone on another forum suggested a Sonic user's clan for that forum, or a forum clan. The thing is, having clan battles with only 4 players may be quite restricting, and we don't know all the options for Friend match Free for All/Team Battle yet.

Personally I hope you can have more than 1 player per Wii, or my clan won't work very well...
