I couldn't wait the 3 hours before the ideas left my mind after reading this. I probably was the only one who was going to get all 5 clues anyway.
1) Stealing brought into mind Game & Watch: Octopus, where you try to steal underwater treasure.
2) Grill? Sausage pan + sausage.
3) Fire? Forward Smash+A
4) Cartwheels is his roll strafe.
5) Divine Wind? This one bothered me the most. "Divine Wind" in japanese is translated into "Kamikaze". And if you're a true SSBM player, you would even know the glitches. The glitch where Game & Watch becomes an instant kill projectile after doing (edited: the oil attack against a Ness's shield after 3 full charges of PK Thunder. G&W then flies around the stage killing everyone as a flying projectile). Also known as the Game & Watch Kamikaze!

Edit: Edited when I forgot to explain the kamikaze attack.

That's correct. About the last clue, there's something called "Million Dollar Masters" and you fight Master Hand on Final Destination. Anyway, you got the point.

1. I think so.
2. As the platform moves, you can change location while technically standing still.
