If playables were Assist Trophies (and Pokeball characters)...

Well, aside for characters that have already been Assist Trophies, that is. We all probably think characters would be better as playable ones than support ones, but if any character were actually an Assist Trophy, and in the case of Pokemon, a Pokeball character, how would they act and function?

Here are some examples.

Mario: Stands around shooting fireballs from his hand, and using his cape on anyone who gets nearby.

Link: Goes around slicing enemies in his path, and before he disappears, he uses his Final Smash from Ultimate to deliver not an instant KO, but high damage.

Fox: Summons his Arwing and uses it to blast enemies on the stage.

Ice Climbers: Use what is otherwise their Final Smash, then disappear.

Mr. Game And Watch: Summons things and characters from the Game and Watch games to wreck havoc on the stage.

Wario: Attacks using shoulder charging, and near the end of his run, he lets out a giant fart that does great damage to those hit.

Sonic: Runs around the stage, spinning to attack enemies and using his homing attack.

Duck Hunt Duo: The dog and duck hide behind a bush, and a cursor appears and tries to aim at fighters, shooting once they are in sight.

Pikachu: Uses his electricity to shock his enemies, sometimes using what is otherwise his Final Smash.

Mewtwo: Stands where he is, using his powers to attack others who get near him, using telekinesis and mind affecting abilities.

So, any other ideas?

Luigi: After appearing, Luigi will suck up his opponents with his vacuum attatched to the Poltergust G-00. They will be sucked in if they don't mash, and shot out at high speeds (kills center stage at 100%). If the opponent tries to mash out, Luigi will slam them around like in Luigi's Mansion 3, not killing them but doing hefty amounts of damage.
Meta Knight: Jumps around and swings his sword. Before he leaves, he will preform a stronger version of his down b. He will vanish to avoid being hit, like Alucard.
Steve: Walks around and throws several spawn eggs from Minecraft onto the ground, the amount of them depending on the amount of opponents (two for 1-on-1, three for 3-player matches, etc). These can be a Ghast, Zombie, Enderman, Skeleton, Creeper, and a Wither. There are also peaceful mobs that don't attack, like the Sheep, Pig, Cow, and Horse-but these have a much lower chance of spawning. Before leaving, Steve will place a TNT block that has a five second timer, or explodes on impact.
Mega Man: Will use two Robot Master abilities, one after another, in combat. These can come from Elec Man, Quick Man, Ice Man, Heat Man, and many more of the Robot Masters. He leaves in a fashion similar to his up taunt in Smash.
Young Link: Will do one of four transformations by using a mask, chosen at random.
Goron Link-rolls around at high speeds and occasionally comes out to punch.
Zora Link-swims through the air and uses his fins as projectiles.
Deku Link-flies with flowers, dropping Deku nuts as he glides, and attacks by spinning and blowing snot bubbles.
Fierce Deity Link (extremely low chance): He has a huge sword that he swings wildly. It does massive damage and knockback, and is near impossible to dodge.

Alright, then (some of these I'm gonna do assuming Assist Trophies debuted in Melee; I'm also ignoring for this list);

• (64): Uses Sing to put nearby opponents to sleep
• (64): Sprays a poisonous gas in an area
• (Melee): Jumps around firing arrows
• (Melee): Sucks in opponents and spits them out on the edge of the stage
• (Melee): Orders his Pikmin to grab opponents and chuck them off the stage
• (Brawl): Digs up an item for the summoner
• (Brawl): Alters the gravity, regardless of the stage
• (Brawl): Shines a heavenly light around the summoner and their, boosting their stats
• (Brawl; pizza form specifically): Moves around the stage in a maze-like pattern, launching anybody he eats
• (Brawl): Functions how he does in his boss battle
• (Brawl): Runs and jumps around and attacks with his whip, moving identically to how he did in his NES games
• (for 3DS/Wii U): Runs around inking opponents with the Splattershot
• (for 3DS/Wii U): Appears at random spots and extends its neck
• (Ultimate): Fights alongside the summoner using the Pair Up mechanic, which boosts the summoner's stats

- : Placed at the top left of the screen, dropping pills Tetris style to cure the stage of newly summoned Virus.

-: Runs around attacking with his auto-attacks, Stream Edge, Air-Slash, and Back-Slash.

-: Charges around the stage, throws his krown, and jumps around spawning kannonballs like in his boss fight.
