I was thinking lately, what if they'd made Kirby differently in Smash? What if instead of taking moves from copy abilities like Cutter, Hammer, and Rock for his non-neutral specials, they worked the same way as his neutral? That's to say, Kirby uses Inhale no matter which special you do, initially, but he copies the move that corresponds. So while neutral Inhaling Link will give you the Bow as your neutral B, Inhaling him via Down B would allow Kirby to use Link's Bombs with Down B. Now, naturally, there are reasons this wasn't done, but just for kicks, if this were the case, what would you like to make as your ultimate combination, assuming you can draw from up to four different other characters for them (this wouldn't be possible in an actual battle, with only three potential opponents, but we're already assuming enough, let's go all out). I think I'd have to go like this:
Neutral B: Falcon Punch (for purposes of epic-ness, I had to use this, although I almost went with R.O.B.'s lazah, because it's very useful, and Kirby's "Beep!" is highly intoxicating)
Up B: Wings of Icarus (awesome, awesome recovery)
Side B: Din's Fire (heck freaking yes! Samus's missiles were a close second choice)
Down B: Counter (because counters are just too useful)
So... What would you choose?
PS: If there's somewhere else this thread should be, move it. Or if I'm the only one who finds this a neat idea to consider, I suppose you're free to dispose of the thread. Whatever. I thought it seemed cool...
