He's still got a few things to iron out, but he's gotten a lot more composed and potent in the neutral game, I'd say.

The improvement is there i can see it. Once again, general things to fix for him:
1. That double jump he uses every time he's offstage is killing me TBH. he needs to learn to mix it up when getting back to stage. There are two very important things to keep in mind when recovering as mac:
A. If you can recover without using your double jump, then do not use your double jump. It's a lifeline, and can give you a second or even third chance at getting back to stage as mac.
B. Unless for a mixup, or you won't get punished for landing back onstage, it's generally better to go for the ledge. It offers safety, gives you back your double jump if you used it, and is much harder to punish.

i suggest having him practice recovering without using a double jump, so he can get a feel for it.

2. Against the toon link, he was still running into projectiles. walk and powershield. slow the game down. little mac has the best grounded frame data in the game, so dropping shield and ftilting or jabbing is a very good option for mac.
Have him learn how to powershield projectiles, it will help tremendously. start with him walking toward mario while spamming fireballs and powershielding them, then powershield ftilting when he is close enough. then do so with other projectiles, like toon link.

3. The power of his tilts is amazing. i still see a lack of dtilt, utilt and jab. also, learn your kill setups from these moves. jab jab to up B, downtilt to jump cancel up B, even utilt to up B all are safe kill confirms. they are safe, fast, and easy to use and throw out in neutral.

He's getting there. he's already getting top 3 at locals so he's doing fine as is, but keep working on it, and the man will start winning tournaments. I look forward to his continued improvement.

Hey Mac players, BaaKi from France here.
I need your help to improve.
I need critics on my playstyle, etc.
Here's a replay showing me versus a good Bowser in France.

You can also check my Little Mac montage if you want to, it's called "The Underestimated Champion 2"

Thanks a lot!
