i live sort of the other way around but i feel you on that
Err, that's not really what I meant.
Well, I'm just saying I like Melee. Though it doesn't seem to transfer much skill to Brawl. Or maybe I'm a slow learner.

playing melee alot transfers to brawl a bit, just by knowing the basics but going from brawl to melee isn't good because you need to learn alot of tech stuff. but being smart at any smash from experience helps.
Well, the physics are completely different. Its hard to take a technique from Melee and try it in Brawl...

I tried Melee at my friends house for the first time in about a year, since I lost my disk,
and I was horrible, it was a lot different then Brawl.
And I don`t like Melee elitists,
I play Melee AND Brawl-yes, it is possible.

I never really mastered wavedashing, but back when I found out about stuff, I barely played it anymore

Oh wow, my mom is like all "Okay." whenever I mention getting rides with people I don't know.
If I find a ride to chicago sometime, I'll come. I still want to play BoX7's Mario, he's the only Mario I'm not really better than in this region. (I must learn)
Oh, I definetly haven't mastered wavedashing. But it is fun to perform; Samus can go FAR!

I would suggest looking for a local, and someone who plays the game, but not someone who plays competitively yet.

Yes, because we need to debate whether or not events where nothing has ever gone wrong aside from some odd incidents of people being too loud are dangerous. More kids are killed at school in a couple months than have died in a smash tourney in IT'S ENTIRE LIFE SPAN.
