I apologize Chaco, I read this so long ago and kept meaning to reply, but had a hard time responding openly. Ill just say I can relate to the situation you're in from further down the road, and not that Jam's advice isnt good, but I dont think it takes everything into consideration. I don't know if youd feel up to talking about it, but if so contact me in a non-public manner of some sort and Ill elaborate more.
