everyone on the AiB ladder keeps saying great yoshi.... im 2-6.... i wouldn't call that great at all, seeing that one was a free win from some random dude... i feel like people are just saying this because yoshi is low tier, so I feel like i'm the mentally ill guy that's in all the matches getting the "A for Effort" trophy.... anyone want to play friendlies so i can get better and boost my morale?

If you lose you lose, dont care about your losses so much, so just try to improve, see what you did wrong, ask for tips, etc.

Shouldn't worry about that. Lots of people have gotten that response, and we mostly shrug it off (well, I do anyway). Seriously, if you know some people that say that, then don't mind them.

About the majority of the people (Especially true with AiB) Still look at Yoshi with the early impressions in Feb-May, and still believe that Yoshi is as useless as Falcon/Ganondorf.

Generally the people who say and act like that are usually those that fit the description above. I get that all the time, even if I win. Generally though, just ignore them

that is true, i suppose. but the question is should i post these new matches in the video library, this thread, or a new thread for criticism?

Just stick with it, Yoshi is really good. alot of people have never invested alot of time in him due to his "uber" limitations of no 3rd jump and no shield jump. therefore he is marked terrible. You got a lot of combo potential and some nice ko power with yoshi, find what works for you, find what works against certain characters.

Watch some of these guys vids, they do some pretty crazy stuff, dont get discouraged if you cant mimic it perfectly. incorporate it into your playstyle as you see fit. Your yoshi doesnt have to break all logic to be good. Keep at it and you will be rewarded =)

i lose almost every match with luigi online (my main) but win a bunch with sheik and falcon.

these stats completely flip offline. some characters are just dumb online
