Actually Connor I kind of want you to allow wobbling. No one's done it in awhile, I think it'd be interesting to see what happens. Also Azn Lep and Fly both have to attend and try to play as gay as possible.

the only thing that will happen if they allow wobbling is they'll beat people they're better than and lose to people they're worse than. bad players get grabbed, and bad players lose to good players when they're grabbed. with any character. case closed.

if this is a democracy and we're all voting against wobbling, i vote against it just cause it improves my chances and means i have to do less work (and it's a really unfun matchup anyway), but in terms of fairness wobbling is fine. only noobs think wobbling dramatically changes the context of the game; good players will **** you for letting yourself get grabbed anyway.

Wobbling is banned, just cuz I'm tired of debating myself. ^^

Also, since the smashfest was this weekend, I'm going to avoid getting into trouble with my parents by making the tournament the weekend AFTER Riptide's. Things'll work out fine for everyone right? The smashfest was a HUGE success and I hope everything I host in the future is just as good :) Thanks to everyone that came.

If anyone is wondering about the $1 venue fee I had for everyone yesterday, I decided that I'll just give them the money of out my own pocket and say it was from you guys :p But this'll be the only exception because it was a smashfest.

I really ****ing <3 the Melee community

yeah you got a lot better connor, you didn't suck nearly so badly in teams :p

you need to calm down though. just think about every move in terms of putting yourself in the best position. if doing a random usmash is going to leave yourself open or if it's not spaced perfectly, then you CAN'T do it. it doesn't matter if it worked that one time or even if it works 100 times in a row, good players will spot it and **** your **** for it (like resting you out of their shield).

think of it like this: if they spot dodge or roll, will i have too much lag from whatever move i'm currently doing to punish them for it before they can punish me or run away? if not, then don't do it.
