(sigh) you know guys, if y'all knew just how simple it actually is to attract women(not to mention get laid) I think y'all would have more fulfilling lives both in and out of bed instead of *****ing and whining about how supposedly hard it is to meet women and get some. All this negativity is exactly why I left SWF for so long and during my abscence I learned the secrets of the Alpha Male and I'm proud of the life I'm living now. Oh yes lemme tell you all about that. During the last few months I have accomplished the following:

Got a few girls phone numbers.

Can easily walk to a girl and strike up a conversation with her.

I have "wingmen" on my side.

I am so much more confident in myself and I no longer give 2 stinkin ****s about anything. I'm just focused on living a fun and fulfilling life.

Had my first kiss and first girlfriend.

More of an optimist these days as opposed to some pessimist like I was in the distant past.

Have motivations, dreams, and ambitions and it's not all about girls. i.e I plan to become a mangaka when I'm older.

You see? Unlike some of you sad pathetic nerds out there who whine like little kids, I actually go out and do things as opposed to just sitting back and letting life pass me by.;)

Get back to me in about... 6-7 years, then you can start calling people sad and pathetic, if you are where you actually want to be.

His thing was rather random too wasn't it. This thread was pretty gay, and then he comes and slags off people for not being able to get girls despite the fact that he knows nothing about them.

I don't have the time or motivation to continue this, so I'll just say what you want to hear. Alright, Teran. You win. You are the grandmaster of all things gay (and all things you ever open your mouth about, apparently). Congratulations.

Stamping your library books.
I'm tempted to respond to the above comments by posting some more pickle962 quotes, but I think I've ****ed off in my own mouth like some sort of disabled chimp enough for one weekend.

I need to start smoking again.
Don't you DARE.

:p

@OP

Ha! Really, this is interesting, because this happened to me, although not in such a ... closed situation. What I mean is... well...

I told a girl that I'd been fooling around with that I'd also fooled around with a guy or two. She did a total 180 on me (despite the fact that she'd admitted to fooling around with girls herself). When I pressed her on the issue her response was along the lines of "I just can't be with you anymore, you've ruined it. I want a MAN, not some blahblahblahgaysarequeer. I'm like ... uh, okay.

But the situation wasn't closed, as in I wasn't in high school, where if word gets out everyone within 50 miles pretty much knows. I just made a mental note not to mention that... side of me, until I was absolutely sure it wouldn't be a problem. I did this by putting out feelers during the getting-to-know-you phase (which is usually right before banging-your-brains-out phase). It did work, though it takes a special kind of coward to hide parts of yourself in order to please others. I am such a coward, and I am okay with this.

You, don't seem to be the type to hide this part of yourself for the sake of getting laid. I could be wrong, I don't know you, but then again if you hadn't broadcast this about yourself, you wouldn't be in this situation, so... there you have it.

Meh, I guess at the end of the day, what it really comes down to is that for the most part, I just generally would rather **** a guy. I mean, girls are nice, but they aren't my favorite. Plus, it's about 100x's easier for me to get a guy than it is a girl.

It just bothered me BECAUSE, I know there are Bi people out there who probably lean towards girls, and have the same problem I do. Which would absolutely suck.

That's fair enough. One of my lit professors suggested that humans experience sex on a scale, with 1 being totally hetero and 10 being totally homo, and most people fall somewhere in between those two. If a 5 represents someone who is equally as interested in men as they are in women, then you would be a 7 I suppose, leaning more toward men but still affected by the attraction of the occasional woman. He also suggested that no human ever goes their entire life without meeting someone of the same sex that affects them in such a way as to make them pause... a flutter of the heart, an unsung attraction that has no explanation. We may not act on it, we may not even acknowledge it consciously, but instead in our dreams.

And yes, there are people who are disgusted at the thought of same-sex sex. Summer of Sam comes to mind. In that movie the central focus characters go to a sex party and the woman, who's desperate to please her man, gets it on with another woman. He has the opposite of intended reactions, he is revolted. This reaction isn't uncommon though by today's standards it's less volatile than say, 30 or 40 years ago (I think you can thank internet porn culture for this). But it does suck to be outcast because of your sexual preference, regardless of what it may be.

Yeah, sexuality is on a continuum of sorts. I've talked about this with my friend before. I actually found a decent quiz at one point that gauged where you are on the continuum.

Most girls DO think Bis will either go gay or they may be secretly thinking about a guy, comparing their experience to what it's like being with a guy. And a girl who wants to pick a guy to settle down with and stay for the long run, is one who won't be looking at Bi guys as possible candidates. I've also been pretty involved with the gay community, and honestly Bis are viewed as reckless, and risky. And are almost never taken seriously because like Teran said, they're in the process of coming out, most of the time. :0

(this is all from my experience of course :p)

It's the common belief that if someone is bi, they will either:

A) They are REALLY just gay and saying "Bi" because they don't have confidence

B) Even if they go with the opposite gender as themselves, the fact they are bi makes them appear like they can't commit to anything and will likely cheat anyway

I think it's B man.

Girls are very, very competitive to each other. If they can lose to a guy, they are not interested as much. Generally speaking of coarse.

Don't think it's smart to say your bi to a girl then.

A friend of mine is gay, and when he came out about it to me he also said he was bi. How quickly that changed around...
