79% (Wii U). I use Ike almost exclusively. ^-^

For Glory, while not ideal for serious matches, can still be good for acquiring match-up knowledge. As far as experience is concerned, Falcon, over time, became one of my more easier match-ups due to how often he appears, as well as Link, to a lesser extent.

I would sometimes use tags, such as "4myFRIENDS", to prompt for mirrors or even more diversity in matches. This tends to elicit some rather interesting responses from opponents. With this particular tag, for instance, an opponent would respond with "4FREEDOM" and then choose Mario's patriotic palette.

As for sportmanship in FG, I have encountered mostly good sports, going by the "GGS" as well as other tags complimenting my gameplay.

I fought a pretty spammy Link (in For Glory? go figure) as Kirby.
I got a kill on him and I noticed that he was playing bad. He was spamming projectiles and... oh dear god, he was rolling like nuts.
Like, I couldn't get near him nor attack him; with the way he was playing, it was rare for Kirby to land another hit.
So, due to this circumstance and the fact that I was ahead by a stock and because I was extremely frustrated, I just stood by an edge and waited. He didn't proceed to attack me with smashes or dash attacks. He just use his bow and arrow and waited for me to attack him. However, I didn't move because he fully charged the bows and because I ducked, Kirby wouldn't get hit.
Ultimately, I got disconnected because I was standing idly. I found it to be pretty hilarious in the end.
damn that can happen?

I find every Link I play on for glory to keep spamming the same strategy.

For example, I was Ganondorf and this guy was Link. This Link kept spamming the bomb and hookshot combo, and it's almost a true combo if I am not mistaken and so since Ganondorf is huge, I can't avoid it. He wins by spamming it and I could barely lay a hit on him, but it's Ganondorf so I did take a stock off him <3.

I can't really check right now, but overall, a bit less than 50%.

I feel you on that, it's a pretty bad play style, but it's hard to hit.

Why can't there be like a cooldown on attacks instead of how Sakurai made it work? Like when Link fires an arrow, regardless of what happens to that arrow he can always pull up another one, why can't it be like he has to do an animation to check his quiver/or reloading an arrow can be like Zelda's phantom, if it breaks it's 16 seconds till there's a new one, but make it like 5 seconds when the arrow hits or misses to stop spam?

If you made it so Link couldn't use that move for five seconds every time he used it, then you would make the entire move more or less useless. Zelda's down b is quite powerful, and it is balanced out by the fact that it doesn't travel very far and has a set amount of health that will cause the move to become useless if it takes too much damage; however, that isn't true for Link's arrow.

I'm sorry if it looked like I got upset there, but I just needed to speak on that. While your idea might stop people from spamming Link's arrows, you'll also be punishing the Link players who don't rely solely on them. You also have to realize that the people who do spam are just going to go to another character who has a bunch of difficult to avoid projectiles and do the exact same thing. I know they are a pain to fight, but it is just something that everybody has to learn to defeat.

Sorry for double posting but I think this needs to be said.

Today I was on FG solid 55.05 percent I went down to 54.67% because of constant spam from Little Mac and Captain Falcon. Yes those are all I saw today as well and one Diddy and one Villager.

Little Mac needs a serious nerf. I understand that he's a boxer and boxers can usually kill a man in like 5 hits, but the KO Punch is so stupid. Why even add it if he can do 20% on an uncharged smash attack or 20% one a regular attack. Also, a lot of Little Macs I've seen spam that counter like crazy. You can't cancel your smash attack, you have to let it go, and he can just easily counter when he sees you charge and it lasts for a while.

Sorry for this rant but I mean I saw these guys today and I am sick of seeing them so much

I hate to fight Little Mac (slight lag can make it a real pain) but I think he is fine as he is. And I still hate a lot of thing about him, especially his super armors that force you to really change your playstyle. This and his range.

For glory has too many spammers these days, especially Pikachu with its grabs and electrocute 10 or more times attack, any way I can get out of pikachus Grab before he has a chance to shock that many times?

Little Mac is awful outside of his element, though. He just happens to be good on For Glory because that is his element.

Not to say that he's a poor character; he isn't. But he's very much specialised towards a particular style of fighting, and exploiting that is his greatest weakness.

Also I'm pretty sure double-posting for any reason is a no-no. Best avoid it and use the edit button if you have something new to say.

I honestly think the issue with fighting Little Mac on FG is because of FD only, where Little Mac shines (and it does NOT help if there's lag). The best way to fight Little Mac is with platforms and try to punish his smashes. That super armor means you gotta have speed or an easy way to get him off the stage.

Being fair, most beginner Mac's will never, ever grab. So just shield-grab to your heart's content.

High-level Macs are another matter entirely, but being honest, you very seldom see them online.

I've found a few Little Macs online punishing shield grab with Jab, so I think you need to keep that in mind.
But, maybe that's just me and my incredible luck.

I have a mixed experience with For Glory. I do well most of the time, but the mistakes I used to do around the beginning of FG made my Win Rate drop. There are many matches that I do pretty well and troll the other opponent, but there are others that I am the trolled one, and Rage Quit. Aside that, I have fun with it!

I went on For Glory this morning, I was welcomed with a Diddy Kong who spammed the same strategy of down throw to up air.

Mine fluctuates between 50-60%. I don’t consider myself a bad player, though. I don’t consider my win rate that important, especially when the only playable stages are all flat. I like to try risky things, I use rest in random places just to see if it would work, and it often results in me being KO’d. I learn more from daredevil losses than I do from winning in formulaic ways. I enjoy hopping in and just using Random, too, it’s good to have knowledge of other characters.

Yesterday was quite bad. Lots of lags, and people who don't approach at all.

Especially that Luigi that knew the grab only. ONLY. But he was stupid enough to dodge an aerial, below the stage, making him unable to come back on the stage.
There was also a Diddy like this.
I seriously wonder how it can be fun to just wait the other player, only to dodge.

Hopefully, there was that good Villager player, had a lot of fun matchs against him!

Just played like 50 fg matches vs one of those types of people, spam projectiles, jump neutral, and shield grab, very little approaching.

I play rushdown style and I did get beat at the start, but once I adjusted my style I was able to secure the majority of the wins. Just kind of boring to be playing trench warfare. The better player will still win, but it really takes a lot of the fun out of the game. I actually had the most success pulling out my robin and giving him a taste of his own medicine. I guess smash 4 is indeed a lot different than melee :(

I played against a Pac-Man today, and one of the strangest things I have ever seen happened. This guy kept using his fruits and grabbing them, so he did serious damage with the key and green fruit grab tactic. After i realized what he was doing the second game with him, I falcon kneed the fruit... and that somehow left the hitbox open to attack pac man it did more damage somehow too... instead of the usual 19% it did something along the lines of 44%...
