How do you downgrade?

I wanted to hack my Wii for Brawl+, but I have the 3.4 upgrade and I hear you can't hack your Wii with the 3.4 upgrade. I asked Triforce Link how to downgrade, and it was even more complicated than hacking the Wii in general. So can anyone tell me the easy way to downgrade from 3.4?

can you install b+ on 3.4. Make sure that connect24 is off or else nintendo can delete HBC whenever they want

Check Makkun's topic, but I'm pretty sure everything still works with 3.4.

And I'm pretty sure no connect24 =/= no wifi.

Makkun dosen't tell you how to downgrade, he tells you not to use 3.4. Atleast, I didn't find it.

Wifi doesn't run off of connect24
Oh, so I just turn off connect24 and I can hack my Wii + use Wifi? Also, in the process, do I ever have to access the files on my SD card while on the computer?

? You need to get the files on the SD card... so if that means likely using a computer, then yes.

I mean like when I put my SD card into the computer and I try to access the files in it, it says (caution, may cause damage to your system.) Or something to that effect.

Never heard anything like that. What was the exact message and how are you connecting the SD card?

I probably wouldn't worry about it.

One individual's problems are a great thing to judge buying an OS from.

Rational thought aside, what everybody else said is pretty much right on the dot. There are ways to downgrade if you desire, as well.

Oh so B+ still works on 3.4 and we're still able to install HBC as well as long as we turn off Connect24?

If we can do that, my friend might get B+ then. He didn't want to downgrade and risk a chance of bricking his Wii. He doesn't care about the Mii stuff, he just wants to WiFi. Does it affect anything else besides the Mii stuff?

Not at all. If you're still interested in downgrading from 3.4 (Which you should!), send me a PM. I'll try to help you as much as I can. And yes, it very possible to go from 3.4 to 3.2.

Or 3.1, but 3.2 is the ideal one, I suppose.

This information should be in the FAQ, and I know they have it at the HBC website.

has anyone experienced nintendo deleting the HBC, or is that just a rumor.
once you have installed HBC on your wii, nintendo can't do anything about it, they can only release new updates to prevent you from installing it(if you haven't already) or hinder some HBC apps (but the people at the HBC website are always working around these updates so there is no need to worry)
