One time, I was able to recover from Mario's foward air by using Luigi's down b. It was unintentional, and I haven't had a chance to try it again.

I mas meteor spiked my DKs fair, but, an every one was like "ohhhhh", I, IDk lol. I pressed up, block, an up-B all at the same time I guess. I just reacted really fast. I was at 87%, which is a guaranteed death from a spike. But it seemed that I didnt get spiked at 87, more like 2.

I accidentally meteor canceled. An yes, you can in Brawl.

No, you can't. Choose any Meteor you want, hit Luigi with it, and how soon you can jump out of it will always be proportional to your %.

Meteor cancel is gone.

the best way to recover with luigi upward is to mid-air jump then immediately luigi cyclone and tap your B button as fast as you can. often times, this will usually be enough to save you, but just in case, throw in a up b and you're home free

the most effective way to recovery horizontally is, after being thrown, first use green missle, then mid-air jump followed by a luigi cyclone (don't forget to tap that B button to get as much vertical distance as possible) and usually, that's enough to get back, you won't have to use up your up b

far too many times have i seen people trying to recover with luigi using only his double jump and his super jump punch. they usually fail every time, and they get the impression luigi's recovery is horrible. he actually has some of the BEST recovery power in the game

If you can't cancel a meteor then can't you stop the attack befour the impact by hitting them first?

Also, the cyclone is a great recovery move but if you hit down slightly befour hitting B will make you start to fall after the jump so the recovery it does is reduced by a crapload. Time it right!

Thank you all for the response, if i hit ^b fast enough @ very low percents i can recover otherwise i just except it lol and the cyclone only slows down your fall and you barely get any rise out of it since u were falling prior to using it. When using this move to recover the only way to get maximum vertical distance is to start the cyclone @ the peak of your jump ^^b
