I've always wondered about Zero's hair myself. I spent many a year thinking he was girl.

Edit: Basement-Yes, that is a probable answer. But surely he had a number of choices when it came to wigs. Why choose the golden locks? To make him feel pretty?

In the megaman X instruction booklet they call zero a girl... back when I was like 11 I denied any belief that someone so cool could be a girl....

Zero is a girl reploid, however possible that really is

where in the X timeline does command mission fit in? I seriously think it is supposed to be taken as a game in and of itself, and has nothing to do wtih the X storyline... I don't quite remember the details, but in CM does X even know Zero when they meet up... I seriously haven't played it in a long time, and I did not like CM...

besides that I think original MMX instruction booklet takes precedent over the sound of someones voice in a game now... didnt the series change directors after x5 anyway... I think 6 and on had a lot of plotholes....

Command Mission takes place after X7 and yes X knows both Zero and Axl before they meet in Command Mission. As for being before X8 that I am not sure, but X7 is where they first meet Axl ao it is after that.

Okay I've been looking, and everwhere references zero as a guy, so maybe there was a typo in the instruction booklet or something..... I still think I'll play through till 3 (cuz i really didnt like x4 and on to much... they were alright but not good enough for me to play through right now) and see if I can't find more proof

Capcom would most likely put in Megaman or Viewtiful Joe. They're more recognizable, and more fun. I do not support Zero for Brawl

Viewtful Joe?! Your kidding right?! Zero has been around since the SNES as for Joe there he is only been in the current gen, I don't think I want a two-bit character like Joe. He is annoying like crud, his games were a snore fest...plus he stinks over all. I don't want a current gen consoloe character to be in Brawl. Zero deserves the spot because he has some many moves you can throw in the there that would be perfect for brawl. Plus with his Saber, he would be a killer character to play with. Megaman..he will be in no doubt.

hey, so uh, the whole point of this thread is to be opinionated but i dont like it when you say teh x-version is better and should be in no matter what. i'm trying to compromise by saying it'd be cool to have MMZ as an alternate costume, even just ONE constume with the same moveset as the x version.

be open minded, then you get more fans of a character.


but anyway, megaman i can bet will be in and zero in any incarnation is a long shot that we can hope for. viewtiful joe would be awful because the whole came was based on him speeding up time, slowing down time or zooming in on himself which wouldnt work in the SSB world.

Even though I do like the X version, I still like the idea of the shield/boomerang thing and extenda-rod thing being in his arsenal. But yea, he wouldn't be in over Megaman, if anything. Plus two words, Captain Commando (god I love that guy).

The shield and boomerang are a bad idea. So is the extenda-rod. This isnt Link or Protoman.

Well the sheild/boomerang is the same item, he throws it like a boomerang, and it's not out all the time like links, nd the rod can be used like a regular spear dealy, so it's purdy different from Link.

The moveset that is already made is fine. He doesnt need the shield/boomerang or the rod/spear dealy thing. This is only for MMX Zero not MMZ zero.
