Dude, if Ness was the same as he was in the 64 version, his throws, priority, speed, everything, not only would I ****, but he would give MK a run for his money.

Her moveset might be similar, but she got nerfed like no other. I think a big reason a lot of people don't want to use Sheik is because they want their opponent to die when they get fair'd at 120%. >_>

Is it going to make me use someone else? Nah. There are other ways to finish people. Everyones character has some sort of weak point. Just have to adjust to it. At home right now but I have to go back up to the hospital here in about an hour or two and stay there for and hour then come back home for the evening. Then I'm free for the rest of the evening or afternoon. you'd need to suppy melee. Don't have it anymore.

You're making it sound like you never used her in melee . Her fair could kill people at 60-70% on most stages, and she was kind of unbalanced, at least in my opinion. A lot of people call her the MK of melee. However, I applaud you for not switching characters because of her faults.

Screw top tier players, its stupid that a person would pick a main for that reason, but I guess if there is a cash prize then money can really motivate a person. I like to play who I'm comfortable with and who I have fun playing with. Been loyal to sheik since the first day melee came out.

No no you got my tone all wrong I really don't care who people play with, some people do play with top tier characters and have lots a fun playing with them, but just changing your character so you know you can win because they have a near unstoppable moveset is just something I wouldn't do.. ie: me switching to MK because its easier to win tourneys, I just personally wouldn't do it. If other people do then oh well what's the point of stressing over it? I don't play games to get stressed. I like it to relieve it

Not being judgemental. I mean its just a game (a really fun game) and I really get competetive in it. But I don't really care who anyone plays with. Ok I'm gonna stop I'm just starting to rant now lol.

Edit: I also hate a really good fox. Always been one of my weaknesses. My younger bro is a pretty d@mn good fox player and he always gives me a run for my money.

First off thanks for joining my group guys. Secondly my bro is pretty good with fox in brawl too. I'd always pick him over anyone else if I'm playing co-op. Besides he has played with fox and only fox since 64. So he knows all of foxes nuiances pretty well, makes him pretty deadly. Like I said an irksome fly I hate trying to swat.

Fox is quite a bit different in all 3 games. Knowing him well in one doesn't help all too much in the others.

Wifi is terrible.

As for fox I wouldn't know. Never liked him never used him. But a good ssb player over all can adjust like I said earlier.

So that is where most of the formal training is. Ssb and ssbb were pretty different gameplay wise but still pretty similar

I only meant that ssb is like the striped down version of melee and brawl. A lot of the basics are there but melee and brawl evolved a lot since the original so they are alike but not so alike. Stop giving me that look lol. I know what I mean and that's all that matters lol. I got two hours of brawl time til I hit the hospital up again.

The game is badass though, I have the first two pieces of the triforce and the overworld theme doesn't get old.....EVER!!!!
