Nintendo is good at keeping IPs and making them memorable. Sony...not so much.

That being said, Nintendo is pretty horrible at creating new ones and milks certain ones yet also overlooks some for no apparent reason. Sony does try new stuff.

Third party, Sony wins obviously.

And both sides are guilty of the supposed herp-derp rehash argument. Some people don't know the differences between a port, rehash, and remake.

That's why it feels like that Sony Smash Bros.'ll be very lackluster when it comes to representation. I'm still saying "who is that?" to a good chunk of the cast of Sony, whereas I seldom ever touched a Nintendo console growing up, but damn well knew who Mario, Link, Samus, and Yoshi were.

Those 2 are easy actually. Alot of people really dont know them unless they play their games. Thats why alot of gamers call Link "Zelda" and get Samus/Metroid confused. Even I made a mistake on the zelda/link thing couple months ago during a game trivia

Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Rayman Origins. thats it. but all 3 of those experiences can be had on a ps3(which most psv owners have)

Better gameplay? uh maybe in your opinion. better graphics? hell yea. but better graphics clearly didnt sell that system. again, why would someone buy the psv when the prob already have a ps3/360 at home with the SAME games and even BETTER graphics.

this is an issue with both systems....WHO THE F CARES LOL. in this day an age nearly everybody has a smartphone and they all can use those very same apps and more. skype/netflix/twitter/fb...ect is literally usless on a gaming device.

Pretty sure xenoblade wasnt made by nintendo. and Nintendo has MANY MANY MANY more franchises than both sony an M$(thats why new IPs mean alot to those two companies/their consumers) that it doesnt need new IPs every year. besides, a new IP doesnt mean it will be good.
