Houston Thread - No HOBOs and no WHOBOs. What do we do now??????????????????????????????????????????

What side event should i include in my tournaments?

It sucks sometimes when you realize that no matter how much you try or how hard you work or how much you learn, some people will still be better than you at the things you put your effort into.

A year and a half and not much is different. Still free. And it's true, what separates good players from bad ones in the end is their mindset. Though anyone can learn at least a little... some are just better than others at it.

In the end everything is luck at the most basic level. You either start with the ability or you don't. If you don't, you can learn; but if you are naturally gifted/inclined when you start, then no matter how hard the people who aren't natural at something try, if you put in the same work, you will always be better.

Every body can get better at anything they do in life. But at the same time everybody has a limit and they will reach that limit earlier or later than others. Just go as far as you can and have fun with whatever hand you were dealt.

Sometimes I just wonder... is life worth even living? In the end all people do is the same thing, unless you get lucky with someone already having done the work for you. We are born and taken care of by someone else's hard work, then as soon as we can learn, we're taught how to work (to varying degrees depending on a bunch of things). Then for the rest of our lives it's work, work and work some more. We work, because if we don't, we won't have the ability to survive... to work again the next day/month/year. I mean sure, sometimes we can enjoy ourselves.... but in the end, our whole existence is about working to make itself last longer, and in the end... we're dead. And the next generation does the same thing we are doing now.

It all depends on what YOU want for your future and HOW you view the path to that future.

For example, Xyro77.

I went to school(1st grade to 12th) not trying AT ALL. I knew i would pass because its REALLY HARD to fail these grades. I think my GPA was a 2.0 or lower when i graduated. I also knew as long as i had the money(thanks dad/mom/gmaw) i could go to junior college(HS grades dont matter, just pass the JC's placement tests and you get in lololol). So i did.

But thats where the problem came up.

Sure i wanted to be a cop(shoot illegals DAILY). Sure i wanted to be president(put all liberals on death row). Sure i wanted to teach history(its the ONLY subject i got A's in and i LIKED). But TBH, those thoughts are fleeting thoughts. None of them made me wake up in the middle of the night and go "holy f. THAT is what i want to be." So i spent about 2-3 years dropping classes or goofing off. I truly thought "is this how life is? endless schooling/working at a ****ty low level job until i figure LIFE out?" So my dad/mom/gmaw cut funding for school and i totally gave up.

Im married now and have a kid. I hear the way amanda talks to her mom and my mom about how she would LOVE to stay home and raise Claire but she HAS to work to keep us floating. Thats when it hit me. I found my motivation. I want to be able to walk in the door one day and say "yo bich, stay home. i got diz ****, n.i.g." But in order to do that i gotta get a degree in something that's actually VIABLE so thats what im doing now and ive never been happier.





The point of this story is this. Life is as bad as YOU allow it to be. If/once you have the MOTIVATION to better yourself, your view on life changes. When you get you a VIABLE degree or that kick *** job you want, life wont be so "doom and gloom." Life is totally worth living once you know what you want to live for.

It's Allan, dude. He takes shots at anything he doesn't have. Mostly to rile people up. Look at him talking about how PC PSO is worse because he knows he doesn't have enough coal to shovel into his computer to play it with the rest of us if someone puts up a server.

It's way more feasible than everyone trying to get the GC/DC versions and BB adapters. **** that.

ANY SHOOTER THAN REQUIRES 2 STICKS or a MOUSE+KEYBOARD(cheat mode)=nerdy nerd nerdsies

SCHT server has like a bunch of people on it all the time and events and stuff. its just better than the other versions it has episode 4 and all the event items and stuff

dc and gc just hackfests

I've been arounds since Melee, and the beginning of Brawl, not a new gen. Sync/Illmatic/Tesh/Marharbarfarcar/Chris = new gen.

I also used to play Golden Eye and Perfect Dark is my one of my favorite shooters ever

Xyro, PSO BB is best PSO.

It has Ep 1,2, and Ep 4, with new equipment, character classes, monsters, story, mag. lol.

it has everything the consoles have but more.

Anything other than DC/GC PSO is a nerd fest. U dont need ep 4 when you have 1 and 2.

I got P4 to download the client for PSO BB SCHTHACK. I'm downloading it too. Hoping on it tomorrow!
