So as many of us see that Brawl+ is a different game. It's only natural that HRC would be affected as well.

Due to the physics changes and character specific changes many strats for HRC have changed as well.

And because I was bored, I decided to take my shot at HRC+.

----

[HRC+/Brawl+] Ike+ -- 1859.4ft
[HRC+/Brawl+] Wolf+ -- 2276.6ft
[HRC+/Brawl+] D3+ -- 1768.2ft
[HRC+/Brawl+] Yoshi+ -- 2441.4ft

---

They're all pretty simple strats. I have strats for other characters, but I've been unable to pull them off. :V

If you guys want to take a shot at this, go ahead. Post replays+scores too. Right now, I hold 4 WR for HRC+.

Lets see you beat them. ;3

I get frustrated cause single player mode has a 0 buffer. I need to figure out why and adjust that cause I'm interested to see how far Ganon can smack that thing.

Wow, no offense, but by the looks of those videos HRC+ looks super boring. Brawl HRC's are awesome to watch because of the combination of moves/set-ups most of the characters require to obtain high scores. I really hope Brawl+'s HRC can go further than using just Dairs, etc.

coughcough.

That said, you do have a point. Stale moves in Brawl means you can't spam a single high-powered move (dair), while no stale moves in B+ means there's really no reason to use fair/bair/uair when you can use a more powerful auto-canceled dair.

Still, given time and effort, perhaps the barrier will give rise to some innovative new B+ HRC runs?

Single player HRC is always basically bat drops :\
I've never really seen things get sexy until co-op is done.

single player hrc is really boring right now in vBrawl though,
it's like nothing except TBDs and the occasional DBD aerial and TBD aerial

records:
(i'll post videos tomorrow, it's getting late)

Roy: 7221.4 ft

Roy + Ganondorf (1P Co-op): over 10, 000 ft - can't remember exact number

Ike: around 3000 ft - can't remember exact number either

So, like, does B+ take out the fact that tipped bat is stronger than base, or does GHNeko just suck?

v:
I suck.

Considering that I suck. I'm a competitive player and not a stadium one, and that HRC for Brawl+ is virtually untapped potetnial. Yea. I can understand them being borning. :V

Wait. Moves stale in Single player HRC? I figured it'd be like training mode.

I kind of agree with Dekku. I think we'll get farther Homeruns, but they won't look as entertaining and what not. I mean watch this...

lol Bat drops.

I'd also like to note that there is more potential in B+ HRC than normal Brawl HRC because there is less aerial lag AND there is less hitlag. The timer doesnt freeze during moves, so less hitlag actually allows the player to do more (maybe like a second more)

HRC+ now lacks a good player. But low hitlag can be bad with characters like Dedede and it would also make DBDs harder.

Which is why other strats would be developed around that character's strengths. (D3 Dair anyone?)

Its a whole new ball game guys. Pun intended.

If doing these wouldn't mean I'd have to reset my vBrawl scores, I'd do this. :( But seeing as I'm 80,000 in vBrawl (still need to improve like 20 strats to include DBD's and better strats in general) I don't want to.....

I may do it once I reach my goal of 130,000.. (I want to be a pro.. :'( )

All I've got to say is BD ADA is probably better done if you SH (if thats possible in Brawl+) as well as for Ike, throw the bat up and charge fsmash facing the wrong distance. (I have 3400 in vBrawl :x)

Actually, that never even crossed my mind. :x /Epic failure

Now then, I'll get some Brawl+ scores up tomorrow.

(I noticed you were double jumping your bat drops. That's why I asked if you could SH bat drop.

I'll also completely ruin your records. :3 BD ADA's are going to be so much fun...

Now what codeset are you using?

By mistake, I was using Roy's codeset, but I'd rather not use that codeset.

FOr the sake of consistancy, use the 4.1 official codeset, rather than a nightly. :V

I was double jumping my drops because I'm a nub. LOL.

I dont have the finger skills for SH bat drops yet.

*does some DBD Jab's just to show off*

/wishes I could actually DBD Jab. I just have the DBD part down....

Yah, 2:30am. Dad leaves for work at 7-8am, and I can update my SD card to be 4.1 at around 9am and then spend a while making strats (Brawl+ may have better strats then vBrawl) then recording and hosting for proofs of scores.

Now how would I back up my Brawl save. :3

Open gecko. Rebooter options. You will see "copy protection flag", disable it and use the rebooter. Copy the Brawl save to your SD card. Done.

I know the installer works. I've used it many times to install a 100% complete save when my original save got too many replays and I didn't want to delete them manually.
I'm pretty sure the extractor worked for me too, since I backed up my old Brawl save as well.

I foresee 2 DJCing Ness being exceptionally good at HRC+. >.>
